LOL. Y'all act like R* didn't learn anything from GTA. Every dollar/gold bar you glitch is a gold bar sale out of their pocket. Do you really think they'll let gold shark bar card money slip through their fingers as easily this time around? I'd bet that this game's economy is drum tight. I think you're wrong. They didn't learn anything otherwise they wouldn't be greedy f*cks with RDO. I paid $99 for the ultimate and i'm gonna glitch the bitch out of Online money.

I never bought a shark card. Started to hate them when they implemented that sh*t but hey, I love their games, I keep buying the games. But i won't spend a cent with micro transaction sh*t.

Nope. Those days are gone, for triple a companies at least. The small developers still make fun games with no micro transaction bs, just gotta vote with your wallet and quit buying this garbage they give us. RDR2 single player is the best game I’ve played since I was a kid. Online is the worst thing I’ve ever seen in a video game, honestly. They don’t even hide it now. When a f*cking gun costs $1000 and you only make $4, its blatantly obvious what they were gearing their economy towards. 

 

Its sad to see the gaming community accept this, it’s only going to continue getting worse because of that fact.

I've read a lot on these posts on this topic. A lot of hateful words, angry people. Yeah people glitch and their always going to weather its a game that has sensible game-play or not.  I can't say I haven't done it in the past. It didn't make me not enjoy the game. I'm not doing it now cause I've found ways to grind more money in RR2 than do a mission for fifteen minutes and make $5. Kind of ticks me off I'm level 10 and can't buy a freaking fishing pole. Oh and not to mention I can't go up north where it's cold because  I'm not a high enough rank and don't have either enough money or gold bars. I don't really care one way or the other about the money glitchers.  Rockstar has always been this way about money, GTA5, $20,000 for an overcoat, yeah that's ridiculous. But I still love the games they spit out. But lets remember guys these are video games not a real life Sports events. Now somebody can read this and rip me apart. Peace, love and SOUL!!!!

I see a lot of people discussing what they "know" rock star is going to do. And in the player's defense who claim that, there is a fair bit of evidence based off their track record. 

 

In GTA 5 the Bati glitch came out very early on and rockstar patched it, no reprimands just a simple patch. That seemed to be the only time they bothered to be this kind about it. Later that year the DNS Server glitch came out, now granted that one was a little more of a detriment to the game as a whole considering it gave players unlimited health and ridiculous amounts of money from simple store holdups. But the community was getting impatient for having to pay 1.5 million for a golden plated helicopter or likewise as much with half decent super cars. (The later being more of an exaggeration) But once rockstar figured that out they patched it removed the vast majority of every player's money even those who earned it honestly, and the rare few who bought a number of shark cards before the event took place and nerfed the piss out of high money making missions. They further continued to stir the pot by finally adding heists, but the catch was you need 4 people (assuming they worked as a team) pay in game currency for the heist set ups and getting mediocre payouts. Granted the heists played better than any normal mission. After that they continued to add new vehicles in and charge obscenely high prices for them. They added new jobs that passively make you money at the cost of tedious fetch quests or outright ridiculous long wait times to get your much earned payout for embarking on these escapades.

 

They're already beginning some of these shady practices by overcharging for horses and especially guns. The horses are the thing that really bothers me considering it took me nearly 4 tries to beat a bounty mission due to my horse draining stamina at a ludicrous rate. While I appreciate the players who wish to play honestly, there are people who are sick of this grind and how insulting it can be. If anybody has ever played Elite Dangerous or War Thunder (two examples that I know best of) understand why grinding for a very long time to earn one thing or very little grow exceedingly impatient when they are consistently let down by the developers over greedy business choices that are designed to prey on your impatience. (whether you believe that or not is your perogative) I understand that people dont have to play it, I understand they "need to make money", despite the game making 700 million plus in its opening weekend, but there's a difference between making us work for it and taking advantage of people's impatience. 

 

I dont think mod lists should be allowed, I think invisible glitches should be patched, I think invulnerability glitches should be patched, hell I'll even agree that money glitches need to be patched. But I absolutely understand why people use them, even I partake occasionally. But immediately claiming people are immoral thieves for wanting to save time just makes you look like a self righteous ass. Not everybody has the time or wants to waste the time grinding for a week to obtain the Mauser is obscene. Putting forth work isn't bad but having to play roughly 100 missions to get an OK handgun is too much. In my opinion the fault is with both parties. Rockstar should be more reasonable with pricing, and in turn it will keep a good portion of money glitchers to have no need to exploit. The playerbase will HOPEFULLY in turn not exploit as much. 

 

Dont get me wrong despite the bitching I did enjoy GTA 5 but there is more than enough evidence to be skeptical of the future for RDO.

I think I’ll only play online after a successful and easy money glitch is released. That may take a few days though. Hmm, dunno what to do.

Some people think that everything will be reset bc its beta. For the same reason they are not rly looking for glitches right now cause probably every glitch that will be published right now will be most likely patched with the final version.So I'm guessing even if theres a rly good money glitch right now people are staying quiet for a reason.

The less R* knows, the better. If you expose every possible glitch right know there will be nothing left for later.

For real, unfortunately, as far as I understand. Although, I'm unable to test this out as I'm in the same boat as you.

 

I logged on for a couple of hours and did something I previously had no intention of doing, I played as a complete b*stard, I killed NPCs, stole their horses, shot other players on sight and did a lot of looting.

 

So far it hasn't made a dent in my honour, which is still maxed out.

 

I'll try again tomorrow, see what happens, but I just don't find playing that way enjoyable.

 

If all else fails I might either scrape enough gold together through missions to pay to be dishonourable or just create another character, as you keep all gold and cash, and just try to do the story again, but make dishonourable choices for the sake of progression then pay to be made honourable using 3 earned gold bars.
