I mean...I just....every time I finish GTA V story I start again for no apparent reason. I've never done anything lik this before in any GTA games. I'm addicted to this story. How do I stop this?

It's literally the 12th time I replay it....wtf.

It's natural. It's a good game.

It's natural until some point. Natural until idk replaying 2-3 times max maybe 4 times to get 100% completition but 10+ times? WTF I'm worried

I've seen a lot of people who replay the story mode LOTS of times and it isn't a bad thing, trust me. Everyone replays the games that they really love is natural like what TheSantader25 said.

If you still have fun then there is no problem I think.

Games are there to entertain their players and it seems GTA V has been a great choice for you.

You're real good man.

I really struggled to complete the story on just my second playthrough. At one point, I even abandoned it before returning back to it. In contrast I've completed all the other main GTA's storylines at least three times, and with certain titles, more than that.

Despite my criticism of the game, it's still very good and I have replayed it like 4 times since release..lol. It's still one of the better GTA games (even if it's not nearly as good as GTA IV) and of course since it has better graphics and gameplay than the likes of VC (which I prefer in terms of story), its easier to replay.

Michael (especially) and Trevor carry the game for me, I barely play as Franklin at this point. The open world is very well crafted as well, still feels alive even after 5 years

I have finished the story on each available console. Same with L.A. Noire, now: having bought an XBox One X, I am playing that game for a 4th time in 4k.

Both are unbelievable games, with awesome storylines and great love to detail.

Having played these thoroughly and knowing the maps there are places on there that give me a smile, with memories of game situations.

I have got Red Dead Redemption 2 now also. This game puts everything on a totally different level. I wonder how the next GTA will be, looking at RDR 2....

Yeah Franklin didn't have too much character developement. It's the cliché story of a gang banger. I think with CJ they did a better job. Idk could be because he was the only playable character.

I must be the only one who only beat this game once. That puts it up there along with GTA: Liberty City Stories for GTA games I’ve only beaten once. For me, V loses my interest after Trevor’s missions in Blaine County before “Fame or Shame”. I love the first part of the story although it seems rushed but I liked it.

I was like that the first time I played it. The ending credits were amazing yet the game felt empty afterwards that ended so I just restarted it. I was like that with GTA lll when it came out, I played that thing every day for hours and hardly needed to look at the map (it also helped that the map was small too). It is there for to provide entertainment so enjoy that's what you like to do and a game that you like to play.

I only completed it once - but if I had a gaming PC I could see myself modding it to be more re-playable. Every time I loaded it up, I couldn't get past how boring I find the North Yankton opening - I think the real kicker was how simplistic the shooting mechanics were. That along with missions like Scouting the Port ahead of me just seemed daunting. It's cool that you can replay is so often, can I ask what the main pull for you is?

Indeed it is much better playing it when you have all the best mods that suit your gameplay preferences, and believe me there is a good number of that that will suit most tastes. I've modded my PC copy nicely and with 60fps or more, it feels more like the game V should have been.

Having said that, the poorly designed map kinda limits the replay value with mods - there is only so much stuff you can do in and around Los Santos, and the small towns and countryside don't really offer much to do or see - no amount of good mods can change that.....yet.

I beat it twice, but I really struggled to do it a second time.

It's been about twenty years since Resident Evil 2 on the original Playstation? I have literally lost track of the number of times I have played that in two decades. Perhaps 40 or 50 times.

If you enjoy a game, then keep playing it. That's what a game is for, really. Enjoyment. It is your free time and you can spend it how you like, if you play new games that's great, if you play old classics well that's great too.

I've lost count of how many times I played through the SP campaign (never ever had an interest in GTA:O).  For me, the plot isn't as serious/grim/gritty as GTA IV and the characters are a bit more light hearted too.  Add in the fact I can get the Online cars into the story (via ScriptHook V + Enhanced Native Trainer) and mod it as with past GTAs and the replayability never goes away, even if the story gets tedious in some places.  When it does, I jump on the side quests/missions to break things up.  YMMV though.
