Disconnected right near the end of it and oh look, have to start over!

f*ck this, can't even get back in as it disconnects every time it loads!

 

The 10 hour one is fine but 18 is just ridiculous given even before this update it was hard to last 24 in-game hours in a lobby

And that black shire is probably one of the most requested horses in the entirety of the game. It's ridiculous that the coat wasn't offered up for online.

I'd pay some good money for a deep red or deep bay Klad, or some of those new paint/pinto coats on the Cob for the Roadster. And more stalls, I would pay for gold to buy more stalls as well. 

 

I only bought one arabian, and that was the little chestnut simply because I have a fondness for that coat and I had mistook the fact that the darn thing was only free for PS4, didn't realize until I was out $250 that I had paid for it instead. I'll take my Turks any day over even that black one.

Being total honest here, for me would be a waste of "the black horse of the stall" in such a tiny horse, given that i dont like to repeat coats, and i am also not lying here, i grew yearning  the zorro and the headless horseman breeds lol... now, i would beg rockstar to take my gold for the rose gray arabian... thats completely another matter...a mare in that coat  would be fitting as f*ck.

Kinda hard to run my camp business, or make trapper clothing & trinkets, complete some dailies, or survive in some parts of the map without doing so. ( would have been nice if Gus also gave role xp)

I think they made her a little too crazy in the head like PETA. A real naturalist would understand that there are situations where survival of the fittest is warranted.

I joined through the ambarino free roam tab and it worked.

I'm ignoring it until I am done with Naturalist, the role takes the cake for being the worst. Before this it was Collector, it may be good money but was it fun? Hell no! Bounty Hunter may have been a grind too but at least it was FUN and great XP too

I wish that animals you've sampled and then revived would turn a different colour in eagle eye (unless I'm missing something), as with herds of animals and the one you revived somehow merges with them so sometimes you end up sedating the same damn one, so you can only revive it again when you're trying to sedate a different one for a new sample!!

I just waited 10-20 minutes tracking the Legendary Fox, only to fail because it escaped as I got wanted for disturbing the peace for killing the poachers so that they wouldn't kill it instead that is if they do, I don't know as didn't get to find out as the fox escaped into Saint Denis whilst I was dealing with lawmen!

That's why I leveled naturalist as fast as possible, just so I could continue hunting. The way that I play the game is as a PvEer and hunting remains a large part of the game for me.

I feel your pain, was right near the end of it too when I started the daily’s after posting in the daily challenge thread.

Its also a pain to complete, unless you don’t ride around on your horse, as out of no where you get Kamikaze birds that fly into your horse and then of course you have to start over!

Eight network errors in the space of an hour - took a break, tried again later, managed to get three more within just five minutes.

 

I've rattled off a support ticket, because this is just daft - fortunately I managed to do a few things to earn one gold bar and keep my streak going, but I've had other dailies just not register at all, because any progress got nullified by the disconnection.

 

I'm almost tempted to take another break from the game until it gets fixed - the game is literally unplayable, considering I can't stay in for more than a few minutes before getting booted (and no progress registers during that time). But at the same time, I really don't want to miss the limited-time stuff that'll go away on the 25th - I need to earn enough gold to get started with Naturalist, and take some samples, and if things aren't fixed in time... R* probably ought to just gift them to players if that happens, IMO.

Having the same issues as everyone is having with disconnects. I get it's the weekend and more players are joining in to check out the update, but at least Rockstar should do something, I won't mind a server maintenance, if it does something to minimize the disconnects.

I’m having this exact same problem. I have a ticket with Rockstar but they’re basically just ignoring me, as I think we all expect now. 
 

I see that @Nerfgoth (champion BTW) recommended trying to set age to 19 instead of 18 to resolve this. You mentioned it seemed to work... has that fix held up over a couple of days now? I will give it a crack too if it has.
