In team games like name your weapon (teams), team shootout and hostile territory, never without one III does have a point there. Because every time we die, we will respawn with another team coloured hat. But when I don't use never without one III in most wanted or free for all, and I am wearing a hat when got killed. My hat always spawn with me. Even if it got shot off. It's supposed to be a bug when the hat doesn't appear, but I'm expecting it to get fixed somehow.

Ok I have a total of like $660, not a lot. But I'm in the market for something with a scope. 

 

So my question, which would be better to buy: Bolt action rifle and add a scope. Or spend an extra 200 and get the Rolling Block rifle? Is there a huge difference in range, I presume there is. But if someone has some good pointers about the weapons mentioned. It would be helpful!

Bolt action has auto aim when scope isnt active but the Rolling block although better for longer shots has a permanent scope no auto aim, my advice is save and get both

Although the bolt action can use both scope and autoaim its real sh*tty for sniping long distances.

The rolling block and carcano is only good for sniping and you'll regret you didn't have some other weapon in your slot when the 5 sec in a fight, where its actually usefull, is over.

please, can anybody tell me if the slippery bastard card ability is actually countered by some other card like paint it black, because recently had a few odd encounters with players who seemingly had no issues locking on me, at least it felt like they were still having their AA enabled. waiting for ektope's reply this guy knows all about cards lol

Ya Paint It Black counters Slippery. Sometimes it could be lag too. I had a super laggy friend lock onto me while I was using Slippery.

If someone auto aimed you and you activate Slippery III right afterwards. The other guy will still have his aiming reticule locked onto you, until it's broken. To break that lock, you need to go behind an obstacle / cover or simply "belly flop" dodge. Then the lock is broken.

I've seen players with the raccoon skin hats like you can make for Arthur....how do we get those online? Or we're they preorder things? I already bought the grizzlies outfit and i know that was just a timed exclusive.

I'm guessing they killed an NPC wearing it. Then picked it up off the floor. I'm not 100% certain though. It's the same way that the bear hat was obtained from Cripps.

I haven't done story missions in a while, if no one else posts before I get chance I'll post what happens for me later/tomorrow.

 

I really hope R* haven stealth nerfed hunting during missions, wouldn't surprise me though.

Sorry forgot I posted this. Turned out I didn't harvest any animal parts in free roam after the mission either. Weird bug I never had before. Figured they'd stealth nerfed it

I always get the Bald eagle on the post at Manzanita both at the beginning and end of story if they spawn, The feathers and game meat stays with me the carcase doesn't also anything you kill and skin in story missions that stores in your satchel will stay with you

Has anyone ever gotten a perfect/good skin from a on the hunt mission ? If it is possible I just can't figure how, they always require multiple shots to go down even with some cards that do increased damage..

You cant, infact if its the big black wolf you cant even skin its supporting wolfs

Yes, I've known about the wolves and the cougars also have to be packed on horseback not skinned. But I was wondering about the alligator and bear in particular.

I've tried to kill them with just headshots but I always screw up and hit them in the body at least once. I'm curious if it might boost the payout to bring in a better pelt, assuming it's possible at all.

it‘s a bug, or they are testing possible „fixes“ to stop playing missions from being profitable. 

A friend of mine with whom I played it with recently encountered the same bug, while I got every animal part. When we ended it and were back in freeroam again, it persisted. So it doesn‘t seem to correlate with missions. Maybe the bug gets triggered by loading the mission though...? 

 

I reported it and they told me to clear the cache for the game cause that might make it less probable to occurs again. They also asked me to provide a video when it happens again... (maybe you could film it too when it happens again?)

I'd been hunting just before the mission so my guess is the mission triggered it. I'm on PS so I don't think I can film it unless I record all the time?

Actually you can if you save an Outfit with only one holster. I did that for a while after unlocking the second holster - until I accidently deleted that outfit

If you didn't delete the outfit the game would have anyway. Outfits are glitchy af

In gta u could clear the cache if you pressed L1 and R1 during the screen that showed the bikini girl. This also triggers the screen calibration.

i didn‘t do it yet, but I can only guess that it‘s the same for rdr2. 

 

You can save a record of the last 15 minutes of gameplay using the share button (left of the interaction pad).
