I played for a bit last night while waiting for another game to install, Blackwater just looked so ominous when we spawned.

 

Took my boy to the barber to get rid of that bushy beard he had

 

 

Then I casually rode to McFarlane's ranch all the while grabbing collectibles along the way

 

I miss my gunslinger dearly

 

And I wished we could have had more by now, or that we had the hope for new gameplay in the future. I still want to take my dog out on adventures with me..

I did this render of Ruvik with his Turk  "Blitzkrieg aka Karl" and his hunting dog "Fern" just because. Lol, even in my 3D program I cannot get the saddlebags to match the saddle

I agree, that new camera we got should have come with the ability to do our emotes while taking selfies. But I guess they want us to spend all of our money on the picture guy just to get good close shots of the emotes.

This is going to be kind of a long one y'all, but I finally got the entire family to join me

 

The game started off kind of normal, and then Ruvik wanted to get a change of outfit at the tailor. 

He doesn't think that his fellow posse members realize what "personal space" means.

 

While in town the Just Some Guys and a Gal gang decided to hit up the photo booth for an official family/posse photo and well...

 

Also I could not get any photo's to stand, I could take them but they never counted. Hence the nasty screenshots.

So after trying to change posses and poses we decided that we would try the photo man in St Denis instead of Blackwater. That may have been a bad idea on our part, because as we were leaving a woman got assaulted, a man got shot, and a dog got run over. The woman and the dog lived to see another day, the man wasn't so lucky. Now, we may have been witness to the chaos, but if we are said to be connected to it in any way we will outright deny being part of any shenanigans in Blackwater the night in question.

 

The ride into St Denis was uneventful and the photo booth seemed not to want to work there either, so we figured a cool selfie photo in the cemetery seemed the next best thing. My photos still didn't want to take so I had to make due with screenshots again.

 

I got one good photo and then

 

To be fair I believe that Ghost was trying to warn us that danger was imminent because right after he showed up gunfire erupted all around us, guess it wasn't the best idea to get a selfie in a known free roam mission locale

 

What is the best thing after a big uninvited gunfight? Well riding around in a fancy carriage that may or may not have been stolen.

 

How it ended up

 

Afterwards we hit up the shine shack, where Ruvik regaled everyone with his ability to play the guitar.

He got into a few fights that night

 

But the cousins made up in the end

 

It was a night of chaos for a group that was merely wanting to get photos taken

When Cranberry met "the Boy" she was NOT impressed with how carelessly he handled his pistol.

For cold weather jobs, Cranberry often uses an outfit she acquired when visiting Siberia.

 

It also helps conceal her movements in the snow...

 

Everything's ready - just waiting for the guests to arrive... This place could use better ventilation.

Cranberry in a mild state of shock as she contemplates her encounter with an extremely abusive, vicious and vile posse. It was 5 on 1 and she was able to fend them off multiple times, but it took a toll. Here she is emerging from her hiding place - vowing to be more careful about where she places her trust in the future.

Been a long journey, but i think i'm about done farming currency for a reason i can't fully comprehend. Every body i loot i get all existential like "those could be my pockets" and "someone could be looting me". 3.7k hours in Online only, now i have the story to go and enjoy. Here's a few final* pictures. I'll probably return to Online if content gets added later, but for now i've done almost everything. Rank 740 as of this post.

Preparation for July 13th.

I didn't know what was going on until I seen that there was a "Funeral" going on, on July 13th. Also that it was related to the news that

Rockstar was no longer supporting or putting out major updates to Red Dead Online, but there will be telegram missions(didn't hear about R*'s newswire until last night). I don't know how people feel

about whether they think RDO is dead, neglected, abandoned, still alive, etc. Some players will be putting the game up for good after July 13th I'm assuming

if you haven't already. I plan to show up July 13th, but I don't plan on hanging my hat up on the game yet. I still like playing the game even though I don't

play as much as I did when it first came out til about October of 2021(my last decent session of 2+ hours).

 

For those quitting the game, already quit the game, or will quit in the future.......it was a fun ride. 

 

For those still checking in......lets just enjoy what we have until they decide to shut this thing down, or RDR3 Online, or you personally have had enough.
