Tried (and failed) to combine the Naturalist outfits, so for now...

I had to re-read FuturePastNow's earlier post explaining how to combine the outfits, then load the game again, pretty quick and easy when you know how, R* sucks at making these things simple and obvious. 

 

So, revised Hippy Chick (which is exactly what my wife is, I know she will like this outfit)

Her face still looks the same out in the wild as before I edited everything the last time, but in the wardrobe menu, etc. she uses the updated look. Typical.

 

And some others I haven't posted yet.

That's a good facial design on that character. Feels authentic and believable. Be interesting to see where you've set the sliders.

 

A lot of the female characters I encounter look like they stepped out of project runway... but it's 1899 not 2019... :s

I suspect the secret is I set her age to 27, not 18, and applied complexion shaders just realistic enough so she doesn't look buried under some sort of foundation.

It's one of the Grizzly Bear pelt coats from Gus.

I discovered something neat about taking pictures inside the Moonshine Shack bar: It's possible to set up a Self Portrait shot with the camera propped on the bar to take high-angle photos.

 

What to name this ensemble, then...

Ace of Spades?

 

Queen of Hearts?

 

Or perhaps we can just go with Wildcard.

My other question is... how are your glasses not opaque black?  I have the same ones, but since the update, they've gone dark, like sunglasses instead of clear glass.

That I don't know.

 

I'm glad that hasn't happened for me though. I'm still p*ssed off about the pointless change that was made to the Frontiersman neckerchief, R* better not f*ck with my glasses too.

I'm now using the glasses from the L10 Naturalist costume (Kennewick?), but they're so SMALL...  I liked the size and shape of the ones from Madam Nazar, though I did wish they had arms.

Looks cool I wasnt sure if the glasses were separate, I'm kinda tempted to buy it just for that, I only have like 130 gold because I only play around the updates so I'm a bit tight when it comes to spending lol.

 

I've had tons of ideas for outfits, I did like some of my originals but I've removed them, I had a scruffy outlaw type and a sheriff. I kinda want the Saloon Girl outfit that Megan Fox wears in Jonah Hex lol, and the suit.

You can remove the glasses, hat, change buckles, neckwear, trinkets, etc. when in the wardrobe, that's where I swapped the top and bottom sections, then save the outfit under a custom name.

I have the Verity Stocking Boots with this outfit, the classic white over black, to keep the color motif. I can see it working with lots of other footwear, however. The black Watongas would be a solid alternative.
