djb204
GTA Online has them in the form of actions. We’ve all seen them. Here is a video of the GTA Online emotes. Do you think we will get emotes in Red Dead Online? If so, what types of emotes would you like to see in Red Dead Online? I’d love to see some cool gunslinger spins with the revolvers. I know we can already double tap the button to do a quick spin before holstering the revolvers, but I think it would be cool if there were some additional tricks. Pepperjack
Hopefully, and hopefully time period centric stuff, I don't wanna see some outlaw doing the DJ or Dabbing. But I could see stuff like Fisticuffs and other things Lonely-Martin and djb204
IamCourtney
My go-to emote in GTAO is to smoke a cig but since I'll probably be able to do that from the item menu, I'm in the market for a new gesture. It'd be nice to have some interactive emotes this time around, being able to clap your friend on the back, shake hands, go in for a hug etc. djb204

I wouldn’t want to see no dabbing or moon walks either. 1 hour ago, IamCourtney said: My go-to emote in GTAO is to smoke a cig but since I'll probably be able to do that from the item menu, I'm in the market for a new gesture. CrimsonFolo
Hope there are idle animations too that you can choose as well, may not seem like much but could be helpful for immersive purposes or rp Emotes should be included as standard tbh maybe have some gun tricks (like revolver ocelot spinning the revolver in MGS)
Lonely-Martin
I would. But if I see that dab or floss, it would actually piss me off TBH. Each their own. But I'm 37 and have hairy balls and everything, lol. E•MO•TION

Callahan44
Emotes are nice, but we need a voice...
djb204
In the Red Dead Redemption 1 Online, too many character models shared the same voice actor/actress. Creating a library with a wide enough range of voices to avoid repetitiveness would be a huge undertaking and an extremely large file size. Not to mention the amount of phrases per voice required to required for variety. The characters in the first game cycled through a small handful of “trash talking” phrases. Yeah,it would have been a lot of work, but rdr needs stuff like this...what makes rdr any better then gta v at the moment? The map looks epic, but the gameplay is about the same, just waaaaaay less content.
