Fonesy Posted November 19, 2018 Share Posted November 19, 2018 Trying to acquire a fishing rod before the mission. I have been checking lakes and rivers but am yet to see any npcs fishing. WPCatfish Posted February 2, 2019 Share Posted February 2, 2019 I have seen NPCs fishing in various rivers etc. And have helped myself to a fishing pole, for the cost of a bullet. I've robbed, shot and hogtied fishermen, but again can't pick up the rod. I've even chatted with fishermen, no one will let me have a go. All I did was ride up behind the guy and unloaded a couple of .45LCs into him. Picked up the rod off the ground like you would pick up a dropped gun. GTA Phreak Posted February 2, 2019 Share Posted February 2, 2019 I did that too, fishing rod dropped to the ground but I can't pick it up just like all the other rods standing around all over the map, it doesn't glow in eagle eye either. Satanta Posted February 2, 2019 Share Posted February 2, 2019 I gotta admit I like Arthurs fishing rod. Had something similar some years ago-folded up nicely and fit in my Kit. Some Jackass stole it out of my jeep along with my tackle box-stuff in there dated back to the 40's and much was hand-carved. Such is life.
