OhHeyBro
at the end of the game. Spoiler What they did with Pearson. I was so glad to get Charles and Sadie back during the epilogue, who were some of my favourite characters, and I was hoping for the return of more characters, especially Pearson, because I missed his stews and crafting. One regret I have is not having him craft many things during the gang camp days, so I was really hoping for him to come back so I can craft the rest. It never happened but then I was so happy to see him in the end game credits in the Rhodes general store. I figured surely if they showed him there then he must actually really work there. So after the credits the first thing I did was went looking for him, and he was there! He greeted John, and they briefly caught up, and that was it. So all those years together, and after being apart for a few years, that's all they had to say? A few words to eachother? I found that really sad. But I figured surely he would at least be able to craft items for me. But nope, he can't do that either. It's just sad that the most important person in the camp from a gameplay standpoint is now just a basic shopkeeper. I'm gonna miss that dude. Sure I can visit him in Rhodes from time to time, but if he barely says anything and if he can't craft items for me then it's just not the same. So basically I can never craft all the Pearson items unless I load a save from Chapter 6 or earlier? CrimsonFolo
It ain't the same but i guess Spoiler pearson ain't really about that life no more. Probably has a good setup in Rhodes and doesn't want to risk it by getting too involved with Marston and the others. jje1000
Dr.Rosenthal
I just now saw the credits roll. I don't think that was sad, him being a "basic shopkeeper". Pearson looked at the photograph of the old times and he looked happy. I think a quiet life would suit him. What I thought this topic would be about was: (In my opinion,) the saddest thing about this series is the fact that Arthur went through all that he did and he never got it to work with Mary Linton or anyone else for that matter (I didn't really like her, though, but whatever), and gave his life so that at least John and Abigail and Jack could live a peaceful life. And we all know how it went for John, Abigail and Jack. Aaaaand, the saddest thing of it all, is: Jack turns out a killer driven by revenge in the end. Yes, revenge, which Arthur states several times is bad, bad business. So Arthur tried rescuing them all from that, and in the end it's all in vain.
