What GTA V did better than GTA IV.

Some balance would be good though. I don't have a problem with the shooting in V. I can take them without using cover even with free aim. It's quite easy for me now. I've been playing this game for a very long time consistently and this basically has made me adapt. The AI is now a very balanced challenge for me. I don't die instantly.

We always talk about planes and parachutes but I'd also like to mention Bicycles. I've had fun performing stunts with them. Riding them in the morning around Vespucci Beach is very relaxing as well. The beach is quiet at that time and you see runners around and hear the sound of seagulls. Very relaxing. Climbing(Or jumping down)Mountains with them is also very fun.

I also liked how you could have more than one parachute and you can shoot while gliding in the air.

 

 

Other than parachutes, the addition of hangers and multiple garages was REALLY a good thing, because I just found a supposably rare car, and I don't think I had anymore space for my safehouse garage.

 

I also stole a jet from the base and saved it to my hanger. It actually saved and worked.

The color palette is much better in V; though it might have to do with the whole mood of the game and two different vibes of two different cities.

 

You get the idea that IV takes place sometime in autumn. The color palette is very dull and gloomy and Liberty City looks like it feels cold and unwelcoming.  Even when sunny it still looks rather dull, visually.

 

I prefer Liberty City to Los Santos, but the colors are way more vibrant in V.

We never get good rewards like the 3D era but I like that the collectibles in V at least do have some closure to them and kinda have a story behind them.

Uhhh, I like that you can freely flip your car and Trevor > Roman. Thank to Trevor's silly shenanigans I don't think I want to invest time in another HD era game anymore.

-You can use the phone while running, swimming or entering a vehicle.

 

-The sliding over a car hood/trunk animation is nice.

 

-You can make car fuel tanks leak.

 

-Also the quick grenade button is handy.
