GTA 3 WON'T OPEN

I get an error saying it wont open bc of screen resolution and im left with a black screen and have to alt f4 the game. it says the screen resolution has to be 1600x900- 60hz but thats what my computer is set to

What is your OS and what are your current display scale settings (100%, 125%, etc)? If you are on Windows 8 or 10 try this:

I put my disc but after the theme ends the screen goes black and does not start and sometimes it says please insert disc

Please solve my problem

Are you using the steam version? Is it modded?

 

Seems strange. More info would be helpful.
