Random RDR2 Questions

Hey guys, I have a few random questions about the game.

 

1. How do I pick what to feed my horse when I'm not on it? I like to feed my horse to build bond before I hop on but it chooses what food I feed him for me.

 

2. What is a horse deed and are there other deeds?

 

3. How do I select what ammo to use? I have improved ammo and so far the game chooses the ammo I use for me.

 

4a. I'm on chapter 2 and it won't let me (or I don't know how) to donate things to camp right. The red icons stay red no matter how much I donate. 4b. Are there a different place I go to donate provisions and ammo? Ive only found the butcher and I think he only accepts food.

4c. If I have a pelt on my horse, who do I bring it to and how do I get it to him?

 

5. Can someone send me a link to a detailed video about where, when and how to catch the Arabian horse?

You need to buy ammo to restock ammo, buy medicine to restock medicine and bring back food to Pearson to restock food. Ammo and medicine can be bought from the Ledger.

 

You select ammo for weapons with the D-pad left and right.

 

I have seen bo horse deeds. You buy a horse from the stable, or bring one there to make it yours. Or put your saddle on a horse out in the world.

 

you can select feed when on the horse but when not on the horse you can go to your inventory. Using the left d-pad always selects the feed for you I think.

 

The white arabian is not the best horse. The rosy arabian is better in every way and overall the Turkoman is a better horse because of the hidden stats and abilities.

Okay but when I go to donate it says I have nothing. Like there's nothing in my inventory. I bought a ton of ammo and it shows that I don't have any. And there's not even an ammo section to donate. Do I have to take the stuff off the horse? How do I do that? If not, can you explain how to do this a little more in depth? I'm just very confused at this part in the game.

 

Also, how do I donate pelts to Pearson? It won't let me do it it just let's me greet him. Do I have to be at a certain point in the game?

You cant donate ammo or food. Only money and stuff like watches,gold,rings.

Like gallows said you need to buy ammo and food in your controlbook,just next to where you donate stuff.

 

You donate pelts just like you donate food to person. Walk to his table.

You cant donate ammo or medicine. Only money and stuff like watches,gold,rings.

This part isn't very well explained in the game - but my suspicion is that you haven't yet played the Chapter 2 mission "Money Lending and other sins"? It's the first mission given to you by Strauss.

 

Once you do that mission, then it opens up the ledger, which in turn allows you to buy ammo, food and medicine for the camp. Before that, you're doomed to be stuck in the red.
