They have to be glowing/flashing at the time when they are on the ground. If you pick them up when they are glowing then they will save automatically to your wardrobe. Apparently you find it in the Stranger mission: A Fine Night For It, bodies near the shack at the end, another missable hat perhaps? SeniorDerp Posted November 22, 2018 Share Posted November 22, 2018 FWIW on my second play through I was doing the chapter 2 bison hunting mission with Charles, the guy at the camp Charles shoots looses his hat, it was glowing and I immediately thought it was mine (Arthur’s OG hat) so I picked it up and it was a special hat.. Awesome! The I f*cked up and didn’t save my progress so I had to replay it, the second time the guy was wearing a small bear head hat. I was able to wear it but it wasn’t a “special” hat and I wasn’t able to save it. The first one I found was a Homburg or Homberg I think it was called? Finally got that hat today but had to replay the mission about 10 times before it dropped! Very annoying! It drops off the dead stranger rather than the night folk and yeah its random. I think that Liberty hat is dropped in chapter 2, "American's pastoral Scene" mission, those horse riders have it(randomly, Plantation gambler's hat, Farmer's hat). And "worksman flat cap"(I'm Kor user, so it's English name might be incorrect) will be in Annesbug. It looks like gray tone, you will find it very easy. And may I ask you to upload Screenshot of "plantation hat" and more info? I kill so many pig farmer at farm near Flakneck Station, he drops cattleman hat, cutter hat, rodeo hat, sadly thanks. I just loaded up all my saves and can't find the Plantation Hat, just the Plantation Gamblers Hat. If that's the case then it might be a typo when I merged the old thread with the new one. You were right as Workman's Flat Cap is the correct English as I just went and checked it out there. Will add it to the list now thanks. I'm in chapter 2, 32 hats have. so It remains Bucket hat(I'm searching, it's screenshot looks like strawberry civilians hat, but they aren't 'stolen hat'), John's Gambler hat(might be in epilogue?), Fisherman hat, Sun, Pinned flop, Straw, Bolero. In chapter 2, 32~3 hats(contains bucket hat) can be acquired. I hope that Bucket hat spawns soon and more screenshot.
