Sometimes leaving an area and coming back works sometimes it doesnt. Sleeping works on occassion as well as restarting/reloading the game, but I have yet to find something to work every time. Trying for 100% completion at this point and working on the egret feathers....what a pain...I know where they are supposed to spawn but after an hour of searching i am only finding white ones and only about 6 of them Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Johan Posted November 14, 2018 Share Posted November 14, 2018 Lol that quest took me almost 3 days to complete, actually not the quest but the first step of the quest. Those damn birds. I respawn animals by sleeping until morning then going to the nearest town and then coming back to the animal location. Though those birds are purposely low spawn for this quest alone because I ended up seeing them almost 99% of the time after I completed the mission strand. A nice trick I had was to sleep until morning and then visit the farthest east side of the swamps, basically the same route you take to go to Van or Annesburg. While looking for egrets I couldn't move 20 feet without seeing a group of herons....now i've been looking for 20 minutes and haven't seen heron one. Exactly the same problem I had, it seriously felt like the most rigged quest ever. I recommend you look at the next steps as well, I think there is one more bird type you have to hunt afterwards, better take advantage of it before the quest lowers their spawn rate lol.
