I think Max Payne should've been added. Yeah he was Remedy's creation, but he's so different in the third game he might as well be a new character and he does indeed look and act badass during the Brazilian part with that shaved head and Hawaiian shirt.

For me, I think it'd be between Arthur Morgan, John Marston, Niko, and James Earl Cash from Manhunt (the often overlooked choice, but you have to consider that he was on death row for something, and he went to very extreme lengths to survive).

 

I also like how Manhunt 2 sucked so bad that nobody ever bothers to include Danny Lamb and Leo Kasper, lol.

He’s only a high school sophomore but he’s hella superhuman, and a lot smarter than he looks.

 

Also I find it funny how despite being 15, his unarmed combat skills are better than what the GTA V trio has. In fact I’d love to see him meet Trevor. He’d snap him like a toothpick

Maybe I'm being biased, but pain to the Max, yeah, pain in the butt, and not just the bald one, but the constipated one especially! I was always biased towards my west balkans bro, Niko, there aren't too many good references for us balkan folks out here in the capitalist west, so he fits there perfectly. Tommy would be my choice as well, or John, or Arthur, or Trevor, or Calude or Jimmy for that matter, despite being mute, $hit, there are so many good characters that could contend for most badass one, it would simply be way too time consuming to recognize and point out all the subtle nuances between them and single one out in particular.

each character had their own ups and downs and that what i really like, seems all made of real emotions, you can't pick one and no one can be replaced..
