This is exactly what I don't want.

@IamCourtney Well, I could accept that kind of Dead Eye but then it’d have to be very rare and not something you could give yourself (like BST).

I just wish we’d have some info soon. We know next to nothing!

The auto mark dead eye in RDR1 was kinda broken ngl, you could easily melt a horse or other player. Dead eye shouldn't be that op against other players and should be well balanced or maybe just have a very quick duration possibly to balance out

it'll be a little different. you will be able to set it up as you like and depending on your setup you will not actually slow down time and mark targets but more like waving your hand or blowing a kiss. smoking, drinking, eating gestures might be possible too. endless possibilities here.

exactly, no dead eye in online because what for? ok i must admit, marking targets in realtime might be funny but seems overpowered if you can shoot the backs of a whole grp of ppl before they even know whats going on.

Cougars are going to be hell to deal with now lol

I imagine it'd work similar to VATS in Fallout 76, time doesn't slow but you can still mark things. At least that's how I'm picturing it....

Naw it'll be easy if you use bait. Gonna suck if you miss though :p

Could be like the first Redemption, or Jack Swift's deadeye in Revolver (you press a button, targets are automatically painted all over people in the blink of an eye - no need for slow motion).
