Rykjeklut
I started a new game after the epilogue, yes.
Johan
Yes and no, I already had plenty of backup saves from chapter 3 to 5. I'll either load them or start a new game eventually after getting the 70 gold medals for the trophy. Audiophile
HockeyMike24
I'm on my second playthrough at the start of chapter 2. I have only done up to Hosea's hunting mission so I unlock the stables. I already found some treasure, unlocked second holster (Not Micah's), a double action revolver, the Lancaster repeater and completed level 10 of hunting challenge. I'm doing this playthrough at a snails pace. I want the fishing rod, but I think I have to advance the story for that.
Sonny_Black
I'm not sure if I'm going to do that..the way it ended, I don't know if I can take it to see Arthur and the gang again..even tho he is one of my favorite protagonist ever, in any case it feel so sad. Audiophile
Yes. I'm on my second playthrough; chapter 2. I feel more free to take my time and do whatever I please. My first playthrough I was always good to keep my honour high. I took my time until chapter 4. Then I started focusing on the story because I wanted to see how it ends and did not want it spoiled further. lndex
I've made a new save start strictly for more exploration, hunting and so on..but i'm currently pushing for 100% on my main save (after the epilogue and all that).
ajheadshot777
I'm on epilogue 1 still, and once I'm finished, I do plan on doing another playthrough. With knowing what I know now, I feel like I can play the game more thoroughly in the next playthrough and really tie actions and decisions into Arthur's story. My first run, I had Arthur's honor right in the middle through most of the game, then maxed it out towards the end, and did a little hunting and no fishing. Next time I'll probably start off being a complete douche bag for the few first few chapters, along with lots of hunting, fishing, side missions, treasure hunting, etc., then focus on the story missions and increase my honor towards the end. SeniorDerp
After I finished Epilogue 2 I started a new one. It’s pretty nice because the story has been told and now I can just take my sweet time exploring. There was still a ton of map that I never explored during my first play through
Oldsport
yes after i first finished the game which i rushed through, i started a second play through. ive been on chapter 2 for about a week and a half now. i did all the missions every now and again, the only mission i got left is the leopold strauss mission where arthur contracts the TB. idk when ill feel like doing that one, maybe when i fully upgrade the camp and arthur satchels from pearson. LittleJesus
Yes. First playtrough took me a week to finish. Second playtrough I spend a week in chapter 1 and 2. Currently in chapter 3, probably I'll spend another week in it
BZXC32
I dont think you have to be further in story for that. When you see someone fishing, you just shoot/ kill him instant, like in the back, the rod falls on the ground where you can pick it up. When he gets the chance to put the rod away and pulls his own gun you cant retrieve the rod anymore. 8 hours ago, HockeyMike24 said: I'm on my second playthrough at the start of chapter 2. Made it to chapter two in second time playing and got bored. Still a Rockstar fan. May just need more time before starting over. Waiting for RDO. I prefer co-op over single player games. E•MO•TION
No. As much as I want to go back to “happier times”, I’m focused on achieving 100% completion and completing all story mode achievements.

silly_nate
I haven’t even finished chapter 4 and I’ve already created a new save at the beginning of chapter 2. Mostly just to exploit the gold bar glitch and have some extra munay. I already took the gold bar in my “main” save, but that save was downgraded to a quick play through save on account of the God forsaken red dead wikia not being updated yet with useful info. Chrismads
Yes i restarted the game and found that I'd missed alot of sidemissions. Like going killing bison poachers with Charles and robbing with Javier. Everyone aiming to get 100%: I don't think you can get 100% if you didn't take your time and study all the exotic animals in Guarma.
