bkg420666 Posted November 11, 2018 Share Posted November 11, 2018 OK I was hunting the white moose. Tracked him to the edge of the lake below the waterfall. When I shot him he jumped and landed in the lake. The current took him to a calm deep spot he sank. Half of one side of his antlers was still above water. I tried to swim and kind of push him towards land but my stamina runs out can't fill it while swimming so had to swim to shore. The moose goes right away back to that deep spot. Also at first it said legendary white moose skin perfect now it says ruined legendary blah blah the map shows his pic crossed out. Legendary animals don't give perfect skin dude, you can unload on any of them with a rocket launcher or a bow and you'll still get the same result. That being said, it should have given you a notification if you travel away from it; that you lost the animal so all the pelts and materials from that animal have automatically been sent to the trapper.
