I had two horses out when I returned to Valentine after getting the white Arabian, but when I went in to name her I was forced to saddle her to even get the option and in a flash I saw my erstwhile main horse appear in the Arabian's place. Couldn't manage to get the both of them out at the same time. What might work, though I doubt it, is hitching up one horse nearby and then going over to the stables to get another horse, but I do believe the hitched horse will then be returned to the stables. Satanta Posted November 10, 2018 Share Posted November 10, 2018 Don't remember how I did it but, I got the horse you are forced to buy then somehow got a Morgan outside of the stables-maybe it was someone else ride that ended up on the Dirt Nap side in a gunfight-so I swapped saddles to the morgan and had the other horse follow me to camp where it stays on the Map as Mine tho the Morgan [[now a Warhorse]] is my main. I could swap saddles onto it-been thinking of having it follow me on hunts to carry an extra corpse but not sure I want to risk it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Bit strange, I can’t seem to get it to work I don't think you can take it from the stable, but I saw a streamer who played exclusively in 1st Person, and was always on foot. He had broken a wild horse and had both it & his saddled horse following him around at the same time. I never saw him get on a horse, and he had loaded both of them up with Perfect (Bison?) Pelts.
