Rockstargerms
So hear me out, I m using 32 gb SD memory card which is stopped working suddenly. And it was unreadable ofevery device regardless if i put it in other mobile devices or in my laptop through a card reader. Its still unreadable, and it gives me an error of "please insert disk" something. But i wanna clear one one thing there was one time it showed me some kind of life for like half an hour after it been unreadable the first time. And never recovered back still. Is there any way that i can recover my data from that SD card. Please help me. Things i tried so far Try chkdsk sorta thing in cmd but it gives me "unable to access" something error so it never completed. put in different devices i didn't work either. sivispacem
I was going to guess SanDisk as my wife's mobile seems to kill one every 12 months or so. I Iouldn't be too optimistic unfortunately. I've not had much, or really any, success resurrecting corrupted MicroSD cards. You could try reformatting in Linux? I've managed to reformat borked USB drives in this manner before that wouldn't do anything in Windows. sivispacem
So there's a pretty good general guide here: https://www.maketecheasier.com/repair-corrupted-usb-drive-linux/ I would probably create a bootable Ubuntu USB (https://tutorials.ubuntu.com/tutorial/tutorial-create-a-usb-stick-on-windows#0) Try following Pt1 of that (your MicroSD card should be readable from a bootable USB, you will probably have to work out which sdc# it is by partition size) Unless you want to run the risk of data loss, don't proceed onto "Zeroing the USB drive" Rockstargerms 1 AMD Ryzen 5900X (4.65GHz All-Core PBO2) | Gigabye X570S Pro | 32GB G-Skill Trident Z RGB 3600MHz CL16 EK-Quantum Reflection D5 | XSPC D5 PWM | TechN/Heatkiller Blocks | HardwareLabs GTS & GTX 360 Radiators Corsair AX750 | Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic XL | EVGA GeForce RTX2080 XC @2055MHz | Sabrant Rocket Plus 1TB Sabrant Rocket 2TB | Samsung 970 Evo 1TB | 2x ASUS ROG Swift PG279Q | Q Acoustics 2010i | Sabaj A4
