How many playable characters in GTA VI

Do you think GTA VI will multiple protagonists like GTA V, or go back to the single protagonist story?

2-3. If the Project Americas rumor is true and the map features both Vice City and somewhere south of the border then having a character in each location would be good.

I have no idea how many there will be,but I would prefer just one or maybe two,three only if there's gonna be over a hundred story missions which would allow all the protagonists to be well developed.

Before RDR2 R* said they are excited to have multiple protagonists in their future games and they loved the idea in GTA V but RDR2 is a one protagonist game which could indicate that GTA VI would have more than one. 

 

My bet is on 3 again.

I'd like to see 4 protagonists. One would be a criminal mastermind (early-mid 50's), the other would be his son (mid 20's), the third would be a female (early 30's) that is the father's closest heist crew member. Then the fourth would be a male cop that doubles as a criminal to help our protagonists.

I know it could be kinda cliché, but see a criminal couple would be great (2 protagonist), something like Bonny and Clyde, Maybe they're too disfunctional at the begining and we would see they relationship evolving as the game goes on, maybe getting closer to each other as the heist and the troubles in the game go bigger and dangerous. I know its a very generic idea but I'd like to see something like that, I've seen it in the movies, in some series but not in a game, at least in none that I've played before, so...

I really hope it's one. Multiple protagonists is so overused it's become a cliche. 

 

The last game R* made with one protagonist was Max Payne 3. I count LA Noire and both the Red Dead games as having multiple protagonists since they pull a switcharoo to another protagonist at a certain point

Only one, the multiple protagonists angle didn't work out in GTA V and was just a poor gimmick. And the last thing we need is a female protagonist in GTA VI which would surely come if there was a female MC

One plz I didn't feel like myself when these insignificant protagonist has their assigned cars. Also Midnight Club had one protag.

when rockstar announced that gta 5 would have 3 protagonists. i was not a fan of the idea. but after i learned more and more about the trio i started to like them. i was looking forward to playing as three different people. and the trailers made it even more exciting for me. and after having beat the story multiple times.i can safely say that i would love to see multiple protags again. but i think next time it should be two.

I personally would like just one and for him to be a mobster of either Irish, Italian, Jewish, Russian, or Polish descent. Three protagonists just seems like too many stories to keep straight.

Maximum of two imo if they continue to do three however they need to add more missions to help flesh out the characters more.
