The complete and interactive Red Dead Redemption 2 Weapons Database!

Hey guys,

After launching the RDR2 Horses Database last week, I’m happy to now share the “ultimate” Red Dead Redemption 2 Weapons Database!

The database allows you to browse, filter and sort through the full list of 60+ Weapons that can be found, purchased or crafted in the game, along with Statistics, Prices, Acquisition Method, and more. It’s responsive, meaning it works well from any device.

Here is the list of Filters/Sorting options (you can combine multiple filters to fine tune your browsing experience):

  • Weapon Name: Quickly find Weapons by typing part of their name, or simply sort them alphabetically.

  • Weapon Type: Filter Weapons based on their class (Revolvers, Rifles, Melee, Throwables, etc…)

  • Purchase Price ($): You can sort weapons from most expensive to cheapest and vice-versa, as well as filter by price range.

  • Statistics & Ratings: You can sort Weapons based on any of their stats: Damage, Fire Rate, Accuracy, Range, Reload, Ammo Capacity, and Overall (Average) rating, to quickly find out which weapons are the best in any category.

  • Available From: This allows you to filter by the method to acquire the Weapons. So, which Weapons can be purchased at Gunsmiths or Fences, which can be found, which can be crafted, etc.

  • Manufacturer: This is a filter for the in-game weapon brands.

  • Game Edition: This allows you to single out the Weapons that are only available in certain game editions or modes.

  • Can be customized?: Filter by whether the weapon can be customized or not.

In addition, clicking on each Weapon brings you to their detailed profiles, which also include:

  • Weapon Descriptions

  • Ammunition Types

  • Ammo Capacity

  • After which Mission it’s available/unlocked

  • Where and how to find, obtain or craft each weapon

  • Detailed Statistics

  • Images

  • Notable Owners, additional Notes, and even more stuff…

Here is the link to the database again: https://www.gtabase.com/red-dead-redemption-2/weapons/

This took a very long time to put together so I really hope it’s useful for the community!

Of course, this will be updated with any new Weapons that may come out in future Title Updates or Red Dead Online.

Looking forward to your feedback :) I hope you enjoy it!

Andy

This looks very good and useful.  Too bad there is very little actual firearms in the game and overall number of weapons is inflated.  For instance,  it looks like there is 10 different revolvers but in reality there are only 3 models and all others are just different variations.

I know right like where's my Evan's repeater? My LeMat Revolver? My Buffalo Rifle? My explosive rifle? I'm certain rockstar will add these in dlc.

Man I didn’t know about the Rare Rolling Rock when I played the magician mission. When I replay it the rolling rock doesn’t stay with me when I finish.  Wish they’d change that.

This is raw as hell and thank you!

Nvm I just found an option in a drop-down window.

Would be easier to click and compare in real time for multiple stat comparing, but I like this a lot!

This is definitely a great effort! A compare feature would be a great next step.

Although, somebody should really data-mine this stuff. In-game weapon charts are usually quite inaccurate, and they're generally there just for simplistic comparisons (not actual science). For instance, toying around with the Double-Action Revolver and Mauser Pistol, the former definitely fires much more than 2.5% faster than the latter. Likewise, the Cattleman Revolver seems to have nearly twice the rate of fire of the Volcanic Pistol. The damage values in the chart, unaltered, are probably close to the real deal.

I would say it's very likely considering for quite a while rockstar did add gta online DLC to gta v singleplayer such as the musket, rocket launchers, melee weapons, pistols, smgs. Even vehicles were added. Odds are you're going to eat a hat if history serves as any indication lol

They added that to singleplayer at the same time as they added it to GTA online though. And I'm pretty sure that they realized it was a mistake. Why buy shark cards so you can try the new car online if you can do it in singleplayer. That's why everything else has been online only.

Did most of you use the bolt action rifle for combat?

I forgot that I have that one. Usually,  I prefer shotguns as primary weapon, repeater for longer distance.  Dual wield Schofields for fun or backup weapons.

They did this only for the first several updates and then shortly after the leap to the next generation dlcs no longer had that which sucked. The only way it could be done was mods on PC of course. I hope they still add them though. At least when it comes to weapons. Not sure if liar's dice would make it into singleplayer.
