I'm not sure why. In chapter 6 every six fish you throw back moves the honor meter up. It could possibly be that you just get more of an honour boost from throwing fish back than greeting people - to be fair I've never really done a ton of fishing aside from the legendary fish so I wouldn't know. With the little fish in a little pool there's no fighting them, they're not strong enough to break the line before you reel them in, that's why it goes so quick. I wouldn't recommend doing it with bigger fish or anywhere you have to cast out far
Edward RDRIII
Even the Gunslinger Ebony Grip for the Double-action Revolver is only unlocked if you're honorable enough, unlike what most people think that you have to be dishonorable to unlock it. By the way, I'm I the only one who thinks that the "Study" mechanic is useless? You should only need to track, kill and skin a animal to complete it's compedium in my opinion, hunting would be less annoying if you didn't have to worry about studying the animal before killing it for the first time. Lemoyne outlaw
does anyone else hate how charles chatenays last mission makes you get wanted? like i get that we beat up some guys. but legally it was self defense. they were gonna beat up or kill charles. one guy has a knife with intent to kill. so arthur is just defending him. even if charles wronged them somehow. they were the attackers. so why should arthur get in trouble for helping someone. especially since this game is about arthurs redemption and becoming a better person. so i get wanted and have to shoot more cops and lose honor and get a bounty. all because i did a good deed. its so stupid. i love this game a lot but it has its stupid moments. MareckiRDR
I see that this thread is almost dead, but after playing the xbox one x version, I felt the need to describe the optimization of the game. At first glance, it seems great, virtually all cities have no drop in animation frames. But there are inside some buildings where the gpu just can't handle it. Bonfires and lighting also cause gigantic clutter of frames and make my console want to explode which makes it very difficult to submerge because there is a huge amount of dialogue in the camps that allows you to get to know your gang mates better. So getting to the point I can't understand the decision to run the game in native 4k.
Lemoyne outlaw
so yesterday i got to guarma in another playthrough. and after saving the game i thought. hey why not take a trip to the beach and swim in the ocean? (lately i have been interested in the oceans and fish. i spent a lot of time fishing in this playthrough.) so that's what i did. or should i say attempted to do. but on the island of guarma apparently its illegal to do such a horrible thing. as soon as i got into the water i was getting shot at. i couldnt see where so i assumed it was the sniper. i said screw it im not gonna get out of the water. so i died there. i hate how you cant even swim in the ocean. in the first guarma mission. you spend most of the time on the beach. listening to the waves and the sights are so beautiful. its like rockstar is hyping you up. hey there is this really cool ocean and exotic scenery. you would love to spend some time here. but nope when you arrive you die. f*ck the invisible sniper! i hope he gets a bad case of tuberculosis. i wish i had mods to give myself god mode or disable it somehow. it makes no sense to make this really pretty location. but they dont want you to visit it. JB1982
Really feel like Rockstar dropped the ball with poor Karen Jones. She literally just disappears from camp and the only hint you get of what happens to her is speculation from Tilly. Considering how we learn what happens to everyone else in the gang it feels like a huge oversight in what is a really meticulously detailed game on so many levels. I, on the other hand, think she was the perfect representation of the gang's downfall. She's easily one of the happiest members in both Chapter 2 and Chapter 3, she's always singing, always full on energy. In Chapter 4, she's a bit sadder, like the story mode in general, but still hangs in there (I even read that she shots at the O'Driscolls from the balcony, never saw this in-game though), like the gang in general. In Chapter 5 and 6, she's literally deadweight. There's nothing left for her no more, all she was believed in was bullsh*t. As for the Epilogue, every gang mamber still alive have their own unique ending, based on their personality. Like Trelawny.

That's it. The very point of Trelawny's character is disappearment. That's what happens in the end... he disappears entirely in the Epilogue. Every surviving member has a unique ending based on its character or personality. Karen, who's been depressed since early Chapter 4, probably drank herself to death. Trelawny, who oddly disappears throughout the game, is nowhere to be seen or heard of in the Epilogue. Mary-Beth dreamed to become a writer and that's what she does. Tilly, following Arthur's advice in the last mission ("you live a good life now"), starts a family. Pearson, a high-skilled cook, runs a store of his own. Swanson, who has redeemed himself, becomes a preacher in New York. Sadie, who had become a great gunslinger from Chapter 3 onwards, in the Epilogue is a famous bounty hunter. Micah, who used to complain about the gang's deadweight, starts a ruthless gang which is formed by gunmen only. Uncle, while it's not clear what he had been doing before meeting John again, continues to be a parasite. Charles, a solitary pearson, basically lives and survives by himself. And then there's Strauss... who, in my opinion, has the most interesting ending. He was cast out the camp by one of his closest friend, yet he did not say a word to those who captured and tortured him. He was loyal to the end. The attack where the cougar bum rushes your horse from the front will cause any horse to buck you off, even the Tiger Stripe Bay mustang which I highly regard as the bravest horse You just have to be mindful of your surroundings Turkomans are brave, but finicky and irritable Also keep your horse fed Edited March 22 by Cutter De Blanc stag3coach2

Rarely throws me and seems smart when it comes to battles. I also use the Horseman Ability Card if that means anything. Cutter De Blanc
