found by Annesburg a Guy with a unique Shotgun and a 10 gallon Hat ...unfortunatly let my the game not all collect ...the Hat is not to safe ...thats all the little Things in the Game .

The story is great, the Members in the camp and the Storys and interaction in Camp great .

The Story-missions  only Linemission who you not can make alternate Ways  and most dump Shootings with hords of enemys like 2003, the Sidequest great and like the Quest ins RDR 1 . and other side to many restrictions ...kill 5 Birds from a moving Train give me a Bounty of 390 $ after all and many dead lawmen and guards ...in RDR 1 was no problem shooting from the Train of animals (like the Reality in the old West). Thats the little Problems with the game ...its Open world and not really open, to many is closed...found a interesting ghost town and all only Decoration and closed.

SPOILER: and after epilog ..all whta you done ...teh updating of camp useless  ...not further a Gang , not members from the gang for further missions .im ending the mainstory now in before Chapter 4 ..nothing interest of the  Story in Skt.Denies

Ahh the corn mission (trying not to spoil anything) is the first mission I really haven’t enjoyed. It just seemed dumb to me.

Shoot the birds from the train and then quit the game as soon as you see you’re wanted. It will save the progress from your challenge but not register the bounty.

Another thing in this game that annoys me is the money you lose when you die.

I understand losing a little to pay for medical bills and stuff but I just lost $37 for dying??? Granted I have $800 so im not gonna miss it but it’s still pretty steep in my opinion.

for all thats will use a second Horse for Hunting

1:find a new Horse and ride it -lets follow the mainhorse

2:bring the new Horse not to stable ...bring it in the Camp

3:Now you have a mainhorse and a unsaddled Second Horse thats you can give Follow Order and use as Packinghorse for hunting

I agree it’s better in RDR2, but I am annoyed that you don’t have the same ability to keep picking up random bounties. When you have done them all there are no more as far as I know.

But you can take random criminals to the sheriff. People who are locked in cages(being transported) , or escaping prisoners can be taken to the sheriff for a reward.

Yeah, the lawman/wanted system is screwed up. First off, if I commit a minor crime in town and I escape the red zone, only to come across some other lawman that has no idea who I am or what I did, not only that he magically know I'm the suspect from a long ways away from a crime scene that literally happened less than 20 seconds ago, is pure garbage. Especially, the spawning out of thin air...

Then, to magically gain an extra 20 dollars to my bounty for each fool, after I lead the 3 assholes (that have super horses) off the trail to stop there persistent douchebaggery of shooting me and my horse, for no goddamn reason, is also pure crap. They were all dropped instantly with dead eye. No witnesses. Yet I'm somehow being charged with added crimes and fines that literally NO ONE even knows about yet...😐🔫

I may have had a different opinion not long ago, but it's literally GTA's nonsense all over again.

Lawmen don't react to NPC crimes at all. They only react to the player. Hell even GTA V got this right lol. Its a f*cking joke to have an NPC punch and shoot you to death in front of a lawman but disarm or punch back the npc and... "WANTED DISTURBING THE PEACE/UNARMED ASSAULT" and then the Lawman proceeds to gun you down.

Played 3 days as John Marston and I'm starting to get annoyed as hell with this guy. Everything, except for his wallet and housing, is under par of Arthur. Even his horse, which Arthur used too, seems under performing opposed to the one during the story. And John aiming with a bow even with Dead-Eye on....., disaster.

I want Arthur back as a playable character. Marston is no fun....

No need to bring it to the camp. Just ride it, even without saddle, and get bonded lvl1. Once you have that, it will respond to your whistle and commands. Get off it and mount your main horse again. Ride of and whistle once and again when the temp horse gets behind. Your temporary horse will keep following you if it can and can be used to stow stuff on. Mind you, with this method you lose both your main and temp horse's cargo when you happen to die before you get it delivered.

As soon as your "crime" gets reported, you have time to make yourself scarce and get the heck out of the investigated area. (Red area). If you are in the clear and the red warning turns to grey slowly, you'll skip a bounty. If you was seen by a witness and the eye icon is red on the minimap, you are recognised and will get a bounty, if you let the witness have it his way. White eye icon is nothing to really worry about. Just get the heck away from the crime scene and you're golden.

I was slow-walking in Valentine, role playing and all. I was headed for the gunsmith.

I noticed the sheriff was walking in the same direction as me, you know, the guy who's not the fella to pass quick judgment...

A few seconds after, he stopped, turned around and said: "If you don't stop following me around, I'm gonna make you stop"

So much for "You are not the center of attention in this game". Especially when NPCs in towns always, not sometimes, but every time say sh*t about Arthur.

I didn't even turn round the corner yet, but an NPC was already saying to another NPC that: "Here, look, that lowlife scumbag sh*t-stain is here". I mean he didn't even see me, and he already said it, goddamn it!

(At first I thought that all those insults and unfriendly campers in the wild is a result of low honor. I tried playing with high honor and nothing changed. Sad.)

Not true at all. I see lawmen reacting to NPCs and can even trigger it consistently. Make someone shoot at you without resorting to violence against them first or draw your gun. Run to the sherif and wait. Just keep antagonizing someone with a gun at their hip.

It IS true. The sherrif ONLY reacts if he gets shot. I have video proof of this. Here's an example of the sherrif COMPLETELY ignoring the NPC.

Here's one where the sherrif does NOT react until a bullet impacts him. The Lawmen in the bank don't react either to ANYTHING except me.

I too have noticed that the sherriff will not react to Arthur being assaulted or killed by NPC.

Last night I antagonized a guy, he drew his weapon on me, so I ran outside and stood next to the sherriff as I was being shot at and the law did nothing....jusy stood there...that is until I shot back. Then the law came after me hard.

Probably see this fixed w patch.

Good day!

1. What's the deal with the accuracy circle cool down that appears after taking a shot? It's a tiny dot, its already hard enough and the first person aiming sucks that's been copied and pasted from gta, it's crap, re design it stop being lazy why anyone thought that is a good idea is beyond me. Why put a bloom effect in did you not see how badly that went for fortnite? Its simple dot on target fire round goes where you aim why do companies add stupid effects like this to games it just makes it more infuriating. First day playing and I'm already getting close to binning it.

2. No regen while static in water. What a pain in the a*/e that is! What's the point in that. The fact you can't regen stamina while static in water is pathetic. It's also unrealistic as you know if you swim fast in real life stop when out of breath float catch your breath start swimming again? Anyone who says that not possible your full of it, I do it every year as a test its not that hard. Its like playing gta vice City all over again water = dead.

3. Combat. Absolutely freaking sucks! As soon as you get shot at the marker is all over the place and you have 0 chance of hitting your next target! Why can you not make a decent combat system? Gta was diabolical and this is even worse! You can 100% tell rockstar made this.

4. Npc reporting. Some guy was getting attacked by some outlaws so I went over to help kill the them. I did and was then rewarded by the individual who after a short conversation ran off screaming and appeared on the map as a witness to a murder... We were in the middle of the woods with not a soul in sight but yet this guy manages to find the police. I have two possible solutions to this.. This guy was the first guy to invent the telephone of which he made two one for him and one for the police. Orrr this game is just pretty dreadful and not that realistic at all...but nevertheless who can you guess came running out from the woods in what I can only assume to be a teleporter...the police

5. Last wind. For some reason when my health bar is right down in combat and the screen flashes indicating that medical attention is required, I simply can not move he has a bit of a fit stands still weapon still in hand while I'm tapping the action button mid shootout, to heal which inevitably results in death bc the combat in this game is absolutely tragic. It was the same with gta v and its the same with this and this was the main reason I binned that garbage off too, just over complicating things trying to be too realistic and resulting in too much to do to achieve something so simple, press this hold that then press again spin the wheel.. stop! Make it simple, the game its self is beautiful but yous have ruined it with stupid annoying things like this which makes it just too much effort for what little reward is given

6. Horse controls. Please please give us the ability to turn off the horse riding assist! Too many times ice tried to turn one direction to avoid a tree/rock and the assist drags me the other way and lone behold I hit the obstacle. I'm quite sure I'm the one who purchased this game so let me play it how I want to, very very quickly getting bored of this games poor mechanics.

7. Robbing trains. What should be an exciting high speed shootout turns out to be an absolute anticlimax. No matter how quietly you kill the rear guard on the train as soon as you progress through the train someone reports you which starts a shootout. Someone clearly has telepathic abilities on this train. Then when you attack it at high speed guns blazing shooting your way through the train, what happens.. The train stops... Brilliant what a waste of time surrounded by the law in what should be an exciting battle turns into an impossible turkey shoot.

8. Stealth. There is absolutely no stealth aspect to this game which I believe is a massive gap that needs to be filled. Why have all this woodland shrubbery and environment for bounty hunters to be able to know your exact location before you've even pulled the first shot. They not only know your location but also get a first round shot on you almost every time.

9. Npcs. Time after time I've been drawn upon and fired at because I was near someone's camp and even after trying to calm the situation down they still fire. Then when I fire back and kill them I get a bad rep? Am I missing something I get a gun pulled out on me, shot at and I'm the bad one?

All in all I can say I'm not impressed with this game at all. Its beautifully made with good random events but there is far too much bs that goes with it, I've played it for approx 2 days and am really considering trading it in, like I did with gta when that came out. You've essentially copied and pasted the same game to this and changed the theme and considering you've had 18 years to make it it's pretty dreadful.

Several issues with those two videos.

in the first one - yes the sherif does not react to someone punching you, but as long as you did not punch first, you can knock your opponents out without getting any heat. Has done this countless of times.

In the second video, the player drawn his gun first. If you do not draw your gun and do any kind of violence the sherif reacts. I have made this happen several times, where the sherif is not in the line of fire. But drawing your gun is agression. Why would you expect to behave like an arse and get away with it?

Are you serious right now? It CLEARLY shows the law won't react to NPC'S unless they get shot.

If the NPC punched you first you could have knocked him out. As stated the law will only react if you punch first.

Already stated as clearly seen in the video - the player drawing the gun was the reason. Why did you draw your gun? You could simply have decided not to do so.

I have no idea why you would go out of your way to set up scenarios where the law does not react, when you clearly was the cause of the issue.

The only big issue with the law is in relation to train robberies. Everything else is people just being silly. I have completed the game and have robbed, murdered, stolen horses ect. without having any imbalanced issues with the law, apart from train robberies. I don’t have a magic copy, but I also don’t do stupid crap, expecting no consequence.

I know the law could react to NPCs more, buy if anything, your videos show precisely how that would be exploited and why it would not work.

Annoys me that I lose honour for shooting a guy who shot me first in the middle of nowhere.

Also annoys me that spoilers are suddenly allowed in this thread so now I’m pretty sure I’ve just seen something that’s ruined the entire game so I’m probably not gonna be back here til I’ve finished the game.

Magic! I managed to save him somehow (even though there is an invisible wall in front of him, so I couldn't run into him). But I tried, and then I yelled at him and his horse ran off.

I decided to go and get his horse. After 10 minutes of galloping after that beast, who decided to be different from other horses in the game, decided to never stop. I finally managed to lasso her.

I went back to the guy because they game had started a quest to return the horse to a stranger at that point.

I guess I didn't push the release button in time... 'cause the guy said "Oh! That's my horse..." as if he was gonna say 'Thanks'. But he stopped mid-sentence and instead yelled at me: "Hey! That's my horse!" and started shooting at me.

Hey, at least these situations are comical, right?... *desperately* right?

The system is flawed and you sound like a Rockstar apologist at this point. Your going out of your way to make excuses for the game that it's hilarious how far of a reach your comments are. So what if I had my gun out first, the sherrif doesn't know that now does he? Who cares if I don't punch back, how does the sherrif know I started the fight or not? I wasn't punching so why doesn't he go after the guy punching me? He only reacted when I pushed the other guy back. Dude just cut the BS already.

The combat system in fallout not good ...other side the looting great to build and decorate the own settlements ...great long time motivation ...in rdr 2 the motivation goes zero after storyend and rdr1 was later and feels more like a western game as rdr2 ...im hate the missions in skt denies and all whats follows .
