Castle117c Posted November 2, 2018 Share Posted November 2, 2018 how does Autosave work??? how does it work with manual saves??? which save gets loaded when returning/restarting game (PS4). i have lost progress, items, and have no clue how to reliably manage saves. i have played Fallout and many other RPGs over the years and never seen anything like this... it seems that character story maybe saved, but unsure about items (all) and leveling progress. it seems that the world does not get reset back to last save... full_r3trd Posted November 2, 2018 Share Posted November 2, 2018 (edited) Well it should auto save whenever you kill an animal because loading will make a recently killed animals carcass spawn and it remembers if you skinned it. Also anytime you study anything. It kinda works like demons souls, it is constantly saving every time you get an item, complete a mission, or even moving to a different area. The game doesn’t track your exact position but will load you randomly “nearby” which many times teleports you somewhere far and pisses me off because they do those load intro scenes in scripted spots. Anytime your inventory updates, you get money it is saving.
