What is your favourite region of the map?

Dust roads, rolling green hills and sunny weather.

Yup, Scarlett Meadows does it for me.

Either the Grizzlies East or the Cholla Springs/Gaptooth Ridge area of New Austin if I had to choose, but I usually like wherever I happen to be at the time

Although I love a lot of parts of the map, I focused on thinking about one single part of the map I cherish the most.

The West Grizzlies

Quiet, peaceful, uninhabited. Ain't another spot as untouched by man as up here, I'm alright with that. There's nothing like waking up to take a ride up that grade towards Barrow Lagoon, brushing the snow off of my horse in the stable, and retiring to warm bed.

Just a simple yes or no answer please, is there any towns/villages/settlements up in the snow I can use for a Home Base?

@RyuNovaNot sure if it has everything you'd be looking for, but Colter's a pretty alright spot in my book to stable my horse and get some rest.

Colter is the only place in the Snow

It's freezing in the house, not really cozy or anything

@Cutter De Blanc

I suspected as much, I camped up at Colter when I was hunting the White Bison. I would live there if it had a working fire so I could cook.

Campsite on the south side of Colter is close enough that it won't despawn if you want to sleep inside

Being up in the mountains is the best thing ever I really wish that was a longer chapter with a bigger plot and wish they utilized it more.

For me I love Strawberry and the mountains in West Elizabeth. From the quaint town to summit of Mount Shann, it is a really well done area

Mine is probably the heartlands. It's a great area for hunting, mostly bison for big game... And it's near valentine which is my kind of place. Saint Denis may have a lot of shops but for me, valentine is enough. Besides, it's smaller and shorter on police and you can always pick an easy fight with an NPC for fun unlike Saint Denis.

The Heartlands. Peaceful, hilly, open, great views in every direction and with enough level of greenery.

Gaptooth & Rio Bravo. I love how further west you go, the more you truly feel like you’re away from civilization. Plus R* made New Austin feel more like an actual desert.

Scenery wise, yes, but definitely not the score or background soundtrack. The soundtrack in New Austin is the same that plays in the eastern states, which is something that the desert state atmosphere (the typical spaghetti-like as in Redemption) lacks in Redemption 2. Redemption excelled in this regard in that the tracks that play in New Austin are different to that of West Elizabeth and Nuevo Paraiso. Not only that, but regions in the same state have different tracks, too.

Roanoke Ridge, because the streams and the greens. And also because it isn’t about speed, it’s about knowing the land

You get some amazing vistas around Twin Stack Pass and Citadel Rock in the Heartlands. I like big buttes and I cannot lie.

Little creek river in the eponymous big valley of Big Valley West Elizabeth is gorgeous too, lots of wide open space and colourful flowers with mountains on either side.

Heartland Overflow near Emerald Ranch is very pretty too and fun to splash your horse through.

And Saint Denis is a total marvel especially at night. I was blown away on my first visit there.

Everywhere is so beautiful! I think it just depends on my mood.
Sometimes I'm just spending days roaming the deserts of NA sometimes I'm spending days at Ranaoke Ridge etc.

Although NGL I'm not a big fan of the Lagras swampy areas, not a fan of gators or humidity. Other than that I have no real preference.
