Raptors887 6
It’s hard to choose but that Roanoke Ridge area is probably my favourite. It’s all thick forests and it’s fun to camp out there in the wild. The towns of Annesburg and Van Horn Trading Post are both great towns as well.
Sebor 51
Still have to do a lot of exploring but so far loving the bayou! It's so scary and already discovered a lot of creepy things there.
Mach1bud 61,141
I really like the Rhodes area. Definitely feels like Alabama/Mississippi/Georgia where I grew up. Edited November 2, 2018 by Mach1bud

Yeah, the same. (I think, still much to see). The first time I went there and the way the dust was blowing across town really did it for me. Very movie-esque. I like the open plains, farms, and posh houses near by too. Just looks to peaceful. A bit Superman/Smallville like to me even. But as I said, much to explore and I'm sure there'll be many spots I love. Such a great map.
HockeyMike24 935
The Heartlands. Just love riding through those fields
Jason 28,038
Haven't explored the north east and eastern parts of the map much yet (or the west) but so far... Maybe the Bayou area. It just oozes atmosphere - and Saint Denis, oof, probably the best city in an open world game yet. The deep grizzlies is a hell of a region though, the deep snow, frozen over lakes, blizzards... It looks incredible.
Oldsport 703
blackwater because it reminds me of atlantic city in boardwalk empire. and thieves landing, even though they stripped it down smh
Rykjeklut 790
Probably Ambarino actually. Heartlands a close second. The snow and the landscape is just ... magnificent.
Alexlecj 396
Scarlett Meadows is a lovely place.
TheSantader25 7,145
Easily Lemoyne. If I wanna become more specific with towns and such I'd say Emerald Ranch, Saint Denis, Lagras. Edited November 2, 2018 by TheSantader25
Algonquin Assassin 49,669
I haven't really been in the Bayou part and have yet to go to Saint Denis, but I really like Big Valley in West Elizabeth.
Cheddarhead7 23
I loved the Grizzlies and I'm also loving the Bayou a lot more than I thought I would

RyuNova 17,013
Just got to Rhodes and I have accidentally gone to Saint Denis so I have not seen all the map but Saint Denis is amazing. Genuinely amazing.
Dr.Rosenthal 5,547
I've found myself spending a lot of time in the woods and hills to the northwest of Strawberry. But it's in part because I'm doing some challenges there. I like the woods there though, and the wildlife (getting caught off guard by a brown bear is always a stressful experience). But I also really like the Bayou area, and Rhodes.. Haven't spent as much time there though (yet). There's so much more to explore! I was thinking I was going to join my friends in GTAO for some Halloween-themed fun this weekend, but it's reaaaally difficult to turn down RDR2. I just love spending time in that world, doing challenges and coming across all kinds of weird and interesting sh*t while out traveling.

RyuNova 17,013
Just a simple yes or no answer please, is there any towns/villages/settlements up in the snow I can use for a Home Base?
Bleep% 250
Anywhere the river runs. I love me Fishing 🎣☺️ If was to be specific, the "inner pools". Gives OOT type feels 🤗 Edited November 2, 2018 by Bleep%
DoubleActionJackson 0
I enjoy the whole map! I will say I get chills and goosebumps when I am in the swamps. After killing a Water Snake and have to travel through the swamp to skin it. Try it... the Snowy Mountains are great also! The towns are essential and when I am trying to do something specific the map always seems to pull me in a different direction!
Raptors887 6
K I just got to chapter 3 and I have to change my answer. The area around Rhodes is my favourite part of the map. I want to move there in real life lol
GTADKNUT 193
Big valley for me so far, but have yet to see large portions of the map. The view down to Little creek from valley view is just amazing! And the hunting in Little creek is great! Strawberry is a cozy place. Rhodes and sorrounding area a close second. Jason 28,038
You know I saw a complaint (probably a troll but ya'know) about the game being grass grass grass and looking the same everywhere but man, I spent most of the day in St Denis and the surrounding swamps and then went back up to Valentine just before I went off and it was like I stepped onto another planet. Each region really has it's own look, feel and atmosphere. They really knocked it out of the park with the map.
Watain 1,865
I really like Lemoyne. It's not too big nor too small but it's also quite compact, which makes for easy travelling. It's such a green state which I love and the swamps make for some great contrast in all of that, despite the different areas feeling connected. Then we have the town of Rhodes and city of Saint Denis, both of which I like a lot. It's just a whole lot of contrast in a relatively small space. It's also conveniently close to Van Horn and the Heartlands which makes the area even better. Basically all my favorite parts of the entire map are within close proximity around Lemoyne. Razed- 2,348
It's hard to pick a favorite since each region looks amazing. I also haven't explored the entire map yet. So far I really like the Heartlands area near Emerald Station. I also like certain parts of Lemoyne. That place is oozing with atmosphere.

Godbluff 1
Big Valley and Bayou NWA. Big Valley is great for hunting and by far the most beautiful area in the game imo. I was surprised how much I liked the bayou because I usually hate swamp areas in games. It's creepy as hell but kinda pretty as well in a weird way. I love how the vegetation and wildlife there are really unique and different from all the other regions.
