couple of questions

is there anyway to tell how far into the water will sink your boat? im playing as arthur but im pretty sure i can get to new austin by bypassing blackwater. first time i was too close and was basically getting sniped by bounty hunters and second time, my boat sank and i drowned. im pretty sure i can make but does anyone know how to tell if or when the boat is going to sink or not?

 

and also, is there a way to get into locked houses? theres alot of doors that arthur runs into that i know are open because they have full interiors i can see from outside. just now i got into a house that was locked when i was playing earlier and i havent done any missions just free roaming. is there anyway to get doors open?

I can't answer your first question.

For the second, I know that you can shoot windows and break in and, apparently if you press LT/L2 near windows Arthur will break it, I've also read that some doors can be kicked in by pressing (B)/(O).

ahh i think new austin is definently landlocked, i got as far as thieves landing on a steamboat but literally just got 1 shot sniped in the head lol smh
