Aiming doesn't lock-on to enemies

Recommended Posts

During gunplay sometimes my reticle drifts and doesn't want to lock on to enemies, it's even the case during deadeye. I have auto-lock on enabled, curious if this is something with stamina, or health, or the condition of my gun? The condition stats on my guns don't appear to be in the gutter, not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Thanks!

I t just locks on to where they are at that moment. It doe snot follow them around. It also only locks on to enemies near your cursor. Not one clear across the screen. SO the solution is to quicly fire or release the buttons and repush them to lock on again.

Also if you are completlly releasing the joysticks on your gamepad and the cursor is till moving that sounds like an issue with the gamepad not the game. I have had gamepads that would drift before. Its usually some grime or something in the mechanism that cause it to stick no tfully returned to center. Sometimes you cannot fix it and jus thave to buy a new one.

Yeah it would snap to the area of the enemy but never hold, even if the enemy was stationary, basically had to muscle to hover over the intended target. I've played a few R* games so I was somewhat familiar with the lock-on system so knew something was awry. After some additional troubleshooting the cause appears to be that my core's were too low even though the ring was at full capacity. Thanks for your input partner, leaving this here for posterity.
