Mattyb584
Hey guys, This game's fantastic but the one thing i'm disappointed with is the fact that the only "romance option" involves a few missions for your ex. Since the beginning it seemed that they were building up Sadie Addler but then at the end they cut 5 hours of her content? I was just really excited to work with her but up to chapter 4 there's only been one mission.
Cutter De Blanc
I don't know, I turned down both of Mary's missions. I wonder if that will change something Penicuikscotland2010
wagszilla
It's possible for the reasons you cite. As I was playing, I was holding out hope that Arthur wouldn't die and would retire to the secluded cabin with Charlotte.
Mattyb584
When I found out he dies i almost shat myself in disappointment but it wouldn't be a rockstar game without dead protagonists. Almost don't want to finish
silly_nate
I really don’t think Arthur and Sadie ever had anything going, even during development. She seems pretty down about her late husband for a while. primethief147, TheSantader25, Penicuikscotland2010 and 3 others
Mattyb584
Even if not for romantic reasons, I'm almost to chapter 5 and have only gone on what.. one mission with her? I guess I was just wrong for assuming she would have a bigger role. Marketing tricked me? Also I still don't know how arthur dies but he keeps coughing and I swear if this game turns into an anti-smoking advertisement I'm gonna cry. If he gets cancer and dies... that would be so.... anti-climactic and just no. I'm sure that isnt what happens but ya, don't tell me! Sadie has a huge role in the epilogue, Arthur doesn't die from cancer, please stop trying to spoil the game for yourself by looking up videos and such. The moment a thumbnail on youtube spoiled the ending for me I stopped using the internet till I finished the game, I knew Arthur was going to die due to said video but it only drove me forward because I wanted to find out why, it's called Red Dead Redemption for a reason. primethief147
After beating the rdr2's story for the second time I just can't see Sadie as a love interest for Arthur. I mean the main drive of her character is her wanting for revenge over her husbands death, hell most scenes in the game with Sadie involve her mentioning how much she misses her husband or her hatred of O'Driscalls.
