DedEyeDedguy
Used to have a PSP lying around but it's dead. Still got a working PS2 so i was thinking about getting that version. Are there that many differences or was it meant to be played on PSP? Might be down to buy a new one, but not sure what I would play aside from that and Battlefront. ZemsBond
In my opinion the best thing for u is to download PPSSPP emulator, buy new analog joystick and enyoj in this game

Arsen Vitiuk
My opinion is, it is well worth it. Aside from a slight differences in controls (which resemble the classic PS2 controls of the Trilogy), and a different design (the health and armor bar have rough edges instead of smooth ones, and the city overall is gloomy and gritty, not as bright as in PSP version), there is nothing to be concerned about. The mission and features set is totally the same. So get it, especially if you like this game. thehambone, universetwisters, Big Fat Paulie and 1 other
elfoam
Why would you play it on a little crap machine when you can play big screen original on the ps2, go for gold

Just as a matter of fact, for LCS, the PSP version is the original, not the other way round. Still, I also vote for the "big screen", although, in case of LCS, the PS2 resolution will be 860x640, just as PSP version. Which is a bummer, considering all the other III era PS2 games are at 1024x768 resolution. Reyiz Kovan

PSP resolution is 480x272 progressive scan, while PS2 GTA games run exclusively at 640x480 interlaced. LCS on PS2 suffers from framerate issues, so I've been told, but it's 1:1 with the PSP version as far as content goes. Which platform you choose makes very little difference, except you can't carry around a PS2 in your pocket VCS on PS2 features additional graphic effects and side missions, and a few tweaks here and there. Unfortunately the PSP version suffers from horrendous streaming problems when playing off a UMD. In this case I'd say go for the PS2 version, but having it for PSP is not a bad idea.
