Kirit0
Hello, I have a small problem, I have created an environment map for the GTA: SA, attach to an area of the map, everything was done correctly. https://gyazo.com/82091e7f65a6a8a306cf53f8747e740e https://gyazo.com/aabb37287425f007ad94300bcd4d5f8f The problem arises when I enter the game to test how the mod was, when approaching the area where I had made the map the game closed immediately. Is there a solution to my problem? Thanks in advance
Mysterdogg
Hello there! welcome to GTAF! please, don't forget to read the forums rules to make your membership better but don't worry, you haven't broken any rule yet. About your problem, well, the causes for it could be many, but before looking for a solution, please provide us more information about your game and your model. Most of the times, these problems are caused by the absence of a limit adjuster, so tell us if you got one in your game (...) sometimes it could also be caused by the format or even size of the model (rare cases though), check that too just to be sure. I could suggest a bunch of things for fixing your issue but before that, let us know about the mods in your game, its version and of course, your PC specs alongside the 3D modeling software version. Kirit0
Hello, answering your question. Try with a .3ds free model and attach it to the area where I want to place the map and it works correctly, maybe it is a problem of vertex excess as read by the forum there is that possibility.https://gyazo.com/f29a9fde6502197f05f39b4261e40416 The size of both files is this. https://gyazo.com/f09152fd337805a84f0744dc8d72d0e8 The specifications of my pc are: i5 6500 16 gb of ram GTX 950 w7 64*
Mysterdogg
Well the size doesn't seem to be the problem but I'm thinking that is probably related with a missing file or mod. Do you have Modloader or FM's Limit Adjuster installed? both mods can provide you with a crash log, that could be useful here.
Kirit0
Yes, I have both mod installed, I use the dff and txd files in the modloader, I also installed the limit adjuster, I will show you an example of what happens to me. https://gyazo.com/b94f61be511bb6fd12268ef5b566d2c6 https://gyazo.com/8c88c50b9b1c0d302d737be239f0b1d4 I can not visualize the map, as I get closer, this happens. https://gyazo.com/0b5cc6eb840aff6d453d251d1e679dd9
Mysterdogg
Check the crash log, Modloader has it inside its folder, open it and look for a file called "modloader.log", go to the end of the file and there you will find the crash log. Post it here, hopefully we will know the reason.
Kirit0
Unfortunately I do not see any mod loader.loghttps://gyazo.com/b812847d69fc488e96e53d0a177a598d Could the problem be the amount of vertex? since I have 30 thousandhttps://gyazo.com/aabb37287425f007ad94300bcd4d5f8f

Give it a try, split your model into pieces with the recommended poly count and see if it works, don't forget to use Open Limit Adjuster & be sure that your model has a collision. Kirit0
After dividing the model, it works but when putting the remaining parts I crash or the game closes unexpectedly, basically leaving me alone to place 4k vertex, probe with a .3ds object of 40k vertex and it works perfectly, but my model only works with a small piece (4k vertex) https://gyazo.com/aeb480e80a53dc7f7c666694df9f43d5https://gyazo.com/2e966bfc415c7ccff0848fad05f31bd2

Note: you can also lower the poly-count to use one model instead of slipping it or divide. Edited October 31, 2018 by Mysterdogg
