Pump-Action Shotgun Appreciation Thread.

This one has been in my loadouts in 95% of my story playthrough. Absolutely beast. One shot kill more often than not and makes a big mess.

Ouch.   Mine usueally tosses me once it gets serious or I get shot out of the saddle trying to figure out where the shootin' is comin' from.  Best for me to skeedaddle till I see the red dots then turn with my carbine or Bolt Action.

 

Get on the lower side of a hill so you are out of sight and pop them as they come over looking for you. 

The reload time got me and my horse killed.

Reloading at the worst possible time.

 

Reload or tonic.

Don't do like me and get all your buttons mixed up.  Was riding along and see a stopped train-realized it was being robbed and they had two or three people from the train on the ground.  My Honor is low-getting up close to the middle so I decide to help the trainsfollk.   Go riding up at full gallop and try to draw my carbine to dead-eye the Bad Guys.  Wait, what?  No carbine?   So I quickly hit the weapon wheel and reach for my scattergun, point and pull the trigger-nothing happened as the bad guys start shooting me into swiss cheese the ~BOOM!~  Two of the bad guys and the three train people go flying, my horse falls over and I go rolling and I'm seeing Red-pull the trigger again and realize I had selected dynamite.  Hit the lead guy in the chest and he starts to run  ~BOOM!~  Two more dead bad guys and one dead horse.   Sigh.
