Alexlecj
So here's how I see thing for the first two chapters of the game: Chapter 1: Colter 1. Outlaws from the West 2. Enter, Pursued by a Memory 3. (B) Old Friends 4. (P) The Aftermath of Genesis 5. Who the Hell is Leviticus Cornwall? 6. Eastward Bound Pretty straightforward here, missions are played in quick succession. Chapter 2: Horseshoe Overlook 7. (RS) Who is Not Without Sin 8. (U) Polite Society, Valentine Style 9. (JE) Americans at Rest 10. (JE) The First Shall Be The Last 11. (H) Exit Pursued by a Bruised Ego 12. (K) Paying a Social Call 13. (LS) ($) Money Lending & Other Sins - I & II 14. (LS) Money Lending & Other Sins - III 15. (ML) We Loved Once and True - I, II & III 16. Good, Honest, Snake Oil 17. (D) A Quiet Time 18. (M) Blessed are the Meek? 19. (H) The Spines of America 20. (M) An American Pastoral Scene 21. (J) Pouring Forth Oil - I & II 22. (A) A Fisher of Men 23. (J) Pouring Forth Oil - III & IV 24. (J) The Sheep and the Goats 25. (D) A Strange Kindness Here, I'll start with what I call the "No Passenger ark", a.k.a Reverend Swanson and Uncle missions. We go see the Reverend near the train station (Who is Not Without Sin), as suggested by Hosea. We help him, we go back to camp. Then we see Uncle to go to town (Polite Society, Valentine Style). After that mission, we stay in town to see Charles, Javier and Bill at the saloon (Americans at Rest). He met Josiah Trelawny here. The next step of Arthur's journey is Great Plains, where he is tasked by Dutch to rescue Sean alongside Charles, Javier and Josiah (The First Shall Be The Last). He goes back to camp, and the gang enjoys a deserved night of celebration. The next day, Arthur decides to join his good friend Hosea in his hunt (Exit Pursued by a Bruised Ego). At his return, he goes check on Kieran Duffy to know what the O'Driscolls are up to (Paying a Social Call). Another day passes, and Arthur is here for THE MUNEY on behalf of Leopold Strauss (Money Lending & Other Sins - I & II, Money Lending & Other Sins - III). A good opportunity to dive into Arthur's past. Read Mary's letter and go help her (We Loved Once and True - I, II & III). The mission finishes in town, which mean it's an ideal moment to visit the sheriff's office and make some money (Good, Honest, Snake Oil). Arthur goes back to camp when Lenny tells the bad news. He gets laid with him (A Quiet Time) then, as Dutch commands, go rescue Micah (Blessed are the Meek?) We go help our friend Hosea at Emerald Ranch (The Spines of America) before returning to Micah (An American Pastoral Scene). Now, here comes the main robbery of chapter 2: a train full of rich tourists travelling by night, as indicated by Mary-Beth. We go steal a Cornwall oil cart and hide it in the woods (Pouring Forth Oil - I & II). I prefer to do the fishing trip with Jack (A Fisher of Men) before the train robbery itself (Pouring Forth Oil - III & IV) because there's dialogue about the Pinkerton encounter in it. We rest, then we proceed to meet John in Valentine (The Sheep and the Goats) before heading for a new place to hide (A Strange Kindness). That I'm not crazy and that the replayabiliy of this game is unreal for those keen to explore all the little differences at different times or in different orders making our own story of what's there. Amazing. Just so much in this game now I'm looking into it more. The story alone is huge and I'm delighted by that. But the rest too, wow! cp1dell
Old topic I know, but I’m about to start my second play through so I’ll definitely throw one of these together. The great thing about RDR2 is that so many cutscenes will reference the next mission - making it easy to throw an “order” together. It also helps that Rockstar did their best this time to not cause the story to trip over itself if you do certain missions before others.

It's crazy how much I didn't notice it until being John Marston. I still feel like I need to explore more and plan accordingly for the restart, but even trying to stay in order with the story missions I skipped A LOT of random stuff. Next time, I will try to make all the ends meet and soak it all up. Lonely-Martin
Chrismads
I'm at chapter 4 in my second playthrough and I've only done 1 MB mission (saving him from jail in strawberry). I wonder for how long I could avoid him. But when looking in the ledger, he's donated iguana scales and reading glasses, although he's hiding from Dutch in the mountains.
