Anyone else finding it distracting from the gameplay and making things overly complicated? .:Edit:. Maybe this should go in the gameplay section. Collibosher Posted October 30, 2018 Share Posted October 30, 2018 I think the point was to not have an extra "are you sure" selection, so that in mind it makes sense and I prefer it, but there are some instances where it's unnecessary. There are also instances, where something like that should be but isn't, like the "set up a camp" on your weapon wheel. For example, exiting out of the menu, you can just hold B rather than manually exit out of each page. I like the way to have to long press A to save sometimes so you don't accidentally overwrite a savefile. My only gripe is that it seems a bit long sometimes but that's probably me just being eager to keep playing. Same thing with disabling the first-person horse head that the press talked about. I have yet to find that anywhere within the options. For the most part, the button hold prompts don't bother me much. It's just for certain things where holding the button seems way too long. R* kind of has to do this to map all of the controls onto a controller with only so many individual buttons. It's the price we pay for enjoying such an expansive game with such limited default peripherals. Red Dead Redemption 2 could almost use. . . a keyboard. Hint-hint, R*.
