HALLOWEEN 2018 IN GTA ONLINE

Halloween casts its ominous shadow over Southern San Andreas this week, turning it into a playground for a sinister assortment of Beasts, Slashers and other ghastly fiends. With bonuses on six chilling Adversary Modes and discounts on returning Halloween vehicles, there's plenty to sink your teeth into. Read on for all the details.

 

 

 

The shotgun-wielding Slasher stalks up to seven Hunted, equipped only with flashlights. After three minutes, the Hunted get shotguns of their own to turn the tables on the Slasher. The mode ends if the Slasher or all the Hunted are killed within the time limit.

 

 

The Slashers, armed with Machetes and Shotguns, must wade through the darkness in pursuit of the Hunted, who are equipped with Thermal Vision and Flashlights. But don't get too comfortable — as each minute passes, the team roles are reversed until one group has been wiped out completely.

 

 

Lost Vs Damned pits Angels against Devils in the ultimate battle of the soul. Each match will flip between day and night for 60 seconds at a clip, with advantages including regenerated Armor and Health and improved weapon options depending on the time – day for the Angels and night for the Devils.

 

 

This nightmarish mode marks one unlucky player for imminent death: when the timer runs out, they’re worm food. Their only hope is to pass the bad news onto somebody else, and the only way to do that is by sending them on a short trip to a shallow grave. Last man standing wins.

 

 

A team of three Runners just trying to make it home, and a team of Hunters out for blood. Runners are well-armed but on foot, while Hunters wield free-aim shotguns and must stay on their motorbikes or ATVs. Hunters have unlimited lives, while the Runners have just one life, but plenty of weapons available to pick off the Hunters at will.

 

 

The Beast is back, and this time it's got company. Only an armored team of Slashers, armed to the teeth have a hope of stopping them. The Beasts, gifted with wild speed, the ability to leap over buildings and temporary invisibility, have to collect all the checkpoints while the Slashers attempt to stop them.

Yeah, I'm taking a break from GTA online at the moment with RDR2 and other interests, and it's surprisingly refreshing. GTA online has taken a hold of my life over the last five years, and I can't even justify why I've ground out so many hours on so many throwaway items. It's called addiction, I guess.

 

Nothing of interest to me here. The Sanctus is an awesome collector's item though, with amazing torque in the rear wheel and some really unique features.

These Halloween AMs are actually cool and 2x means people are going to play them. Why not? Discounts are meh, that's at least 3rd time for B11.

Exactly! Somehow I've ignored so many games and now got on with Forza Horizon 4, catching up with 3, downloading The new Colossus right now to test out my new system.

The B-11 Strikeforce being discounted for the third time since being added some months ago is irrefutable proof that it sucks and that it needs to be buffed (and nerfed in some areas too).

 

And if someone does not believe me, well, why the Oppresors and Deluxo, vehicles infamous because of how overpowered they are, rarely come up on sale then?

I haven't seen anyone else mentioning this but I seem to have a few additional targeted discounts that have appeared overnight.

 

For me, the Buzzard is 40% off ($1,050,000) which makes it a great purchase for anyone who doesn't already have it. I also have discounts on the Zentorno and the Dominator GTX which are a little more than $500,000 each.

Logged in bought Sanctus logged out. Not played properly for around 4 days and with an impending house move doubt I will play again until December. I'm semi retired from GTAO. Seen and some enough for it to take too much of my time. 

 

As someone who isn't playing RDR2 either I'm gonna take a break away from gaming for a month or so

I might come on to do some of the Adversary Modes, actually. Not usually a big fan of them, but with the Halloween spirit it might be fun to do some of them while getting together with the gang again (have stayed away from party chat since Thursday night, lol). I don't really feel like coming on GTAO for 2x events anymore, as I already have all the money I need with no need for grinding. But some competitive fun is always.. well, fun.

 

Not surprised there's no Halloween weather, since there hasn't been before. But I agree with @Arrows to Athens; if they can do snow for Christmas and New Year, they could do spooky weather for Halloween. A missed opportunity!

I sort of have. However, GTA was my first game experience that really spoke to me outside of my sports and RPGs bubble. It's like an old bad marriage. I may argue, bitch about and even criticize her, but that "love" will always be there and I can't imagine a life without her. Waygtd?
