theyorkshirejo
Twice now when I’ve started up the game, it stays on a black screen for about a minute and then just completely turns my Xbox off. I have plenty of space on my xbox and it is fully updated.

It starts by looking up at the sky as we both know and as it panned down toward Arthur it froze once he came into full view. And then after about a minute the console just shut off ... so seems to be the same thing you experienced. theyorkshirejo
MjrOu812
You may have to wait for Rockstar to roll out patch 2....the next 2 or 3 patch will be stability and performance fixes.
theyorkshirejo
I’ve read online it’s caused by going from YouTube to RDR2

By the way, when you look at the data for the game after clicking on "manage game and add ons" or whatever it's called in the guide ... and then you check the "updates" tab ... do you see anything there? Is that section just for available yet to be installed updates? Or will it also show any updates that have already been applied? I just got this new Xbox One X on friday and I had issues during setup because xbox live was down at the time and I'm a little bit paranoid that something got messed up. Mine just says “when there are available updates this is where you’ll find them” it wont show any past updates, just ones that need installing wxflurry
