Is there more to some of the little secrets we find in shacks?

This could go in the Armadillo Inn, but I've been trying like hell to avoid that section like the Plague. I'm just generally curious if there is anything more to a lot of the events and secrets we find in some of the shacks in the world? If perhaps I'm leaving the area too soon before exploring more or perhaps I should come back to some of them?

1. I found what looks to be a mass suicide by some cult. Is there more to this story if I go hunting around?

2. I found a sad tale of two young brothers who were murdered in their home out in the Grizzlies. They had a letter from their mother, something about getting revenge? Is there more to this?

3. Found the Watson cabin and the old lady there said she would get her boys to find me. Is there any more to this event? Should I go back?

I'm not complaining about these moments being small, I just don't want to miss anything.

Read the note on the desk in the cult cabin. I triggered this by pure coincidence and was never expecting something like this in game.
