éX-Driver Posted October 29, 2018 Share Posted October 29, 2018 Is there a way to just set the guns you want to use and then keep it that way until you deliberately change it again? I’ve noticed every time I mount my horse, Arthur has a nasty habit switch guns he has equipped at random. More times than I can count I’ve been accosted up close and personal, I go to pull my sawed-off shotgun, and Arty pulls out his Springfield or Volcanic instead. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to which guns I draw unless I actively open the weapon wheel, select the gun, and then manually holster it again a few seconds before I need to shoot. It’s an absolute drag to constantly have to check if Arthur left is Winchester on his horse and brought his shotgun instead, despite me having had the Winchester equipped when I got on said horse. It does it before and during missions as well. I enter a cutscene with my Colt selected, then am put back in gameplay with my sawed-off selected. Sometimes guns will switch at random for a mission, and not to ones that would be helpful. I entered a mission involving long-range shooting with my Springfield on my back. Once I go to shoot?
