Busstterr
I've beat the main story, sped through while making save slots each chapter after 3. Speeding through the missions is all good as long as you make little markers so you can go back and enjoy the world
Audiophile
Been playing since midnight release. I'm on chapter 3; 12 out of 17 missions completed. I'm trying to take it slow and savour the game as long as I possibly can. I am actually surprised it's taking me this long. I'm generally one of those people who will do story mission after story mission, whereas with RDR2 I am taking my time immersing myself in the world and all it has to offer. tonko and Mister Pink 2 Intel i5-4590 3.3GHz | EVGA GTX 1080 SC 8GB | 16GB Corsair Vengeance RAM | MSI Z97 G-45Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD and Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD | Audioengine A2 Speakers Corsair K70 RGB Rapidfire | Corsair M65 Mouse | Fractal Design R5 Case | EVGA G2 850WAudio-Technica M50x Headphones and Sennheiser HD 558 | LG 34UC88 1440p Ultrawide Curved Monitor
theEwing1979
Still in chapter 2 and without looking I'd say I've put in around 30-35 hours of game time. I'm having way too much fun exploring, gambling and hunting and doing all the side stuff that crops up. Just done the side mission that takes me to the swamps to find Black Belle and bagged my first gator while I was there. Tomorrow is my last day off work for a while so I plan on hitting chapter 3 at some point. Hopefully fishing becomes a thing soon. Or....you can just find a rod somewhere and pick it up. I believe that also works. theEwing1979 1 Intel i5-4590 3.3GHz | EVGA GTX 1080 SC 8GB | 16GB Corsair Vengeance RAM | MSI Z97 G-45Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD and Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD | Audioengine A2 Speakers Corsair K70 RGB Rapidfire | Corsair M65 Mouse | Fractal Design R5 Case | EVGA G2 850WAudio-Technica M50x Headphones and Sennheiser HD 558 | LG 34UC88 1440p Ultrawide Curved Monitor

When you reach chapter 5 you’ll want to jerk off every R* employee. I got half way into chapter 4 and stopped to take a break and explore the world more... Now you make me want to continue
Doublepulse
I’ve just entered Chapter 4 and the game is impressive so far! I wandered into Saint Denis a bit early by mistake after robbing a train, but it still provided me a good surprise! I went into one of the shows where you could interact with the people on stage. Lol after that I decided to head back to camp to avoid ruining too much of the first time magic of being in the city. After looking at the physical map though, I’m very intrigued by what is to come later in the story. One thing I’m trying to do is by the end of the game I want long hair and a huge beard, trying to keep the length a little control, however I’ve lost control and got a really full beard. Might trim it a few more times.

nicktestbranch
I finished chapter six last night. This has been an emotional rollercoaster so far.
sunhuntin
Just started chapter 3. I never did get to MIcah over near Strawberry so will have to see if he is still there or not. Figured I ended up with enough of a bounty after getting him out of jail, I wasn't keen on letting that happen again.
_SMOKEY_
Got to chapter 3 and did the very first mission once you settle in the new camp grounds. Spents hours exploring the swampy area before that. Lonely-Martin

I'm currently at around 23% and I kind of feel paranoid that I'm going too fast. I've just reached chapter three, the world is unparalleled and is a fantastic place to inhabit and whilst I have spent a decent time hunting and exploring the story just keeps sucking me back in. 1 I'm only on Chapter 2. I've about 36% overall completion (Story 18%). I've practically visited all the map now bar one or two places that are unrevealed. I've put about 50hrs into my game. I was getting super paranoid that my completion rate was going up too fast. Then I look at the challenges, crafting and all the hidden perks I've yet to reveal and then think there is still so much to do. If I learned something from original RDR, is that not to rush through the story/map. I think you are supposed to try to do all the side things and all the hunting you can do in an area before moving on. It really feels like my camp is my home as I'm upgrading it. I then go on hunting and exploring expeditions and return back to camp 2, 3 or 4 days later then contribute an upgrade. It's a great system. Only thing that took me on business to Lamoyne was a collectable. Even though I took a train excursion to Saint-Denis, to have a look, I wanted to be introduced to it by story - but sure the collectable taking me down to Lemoyne was story enough for me (there were cut-scenes and dialogue). Also kept hearing about Rhodes but only discovered it yesterday. It's a real dry and dusty town that reminded me of the original RDR. RDR2 is great value for money. 50hrs so far and still so much to discover. I absolutely love this diverse map and huge map. Best Rockstar map since San Andreas in my opinion.
