Typhus
Now we've had time to explore a little, what area of the game makes you feel the most uneasy? I wasn't really expecting the world to feel as dangerous as it does, but I'm so impressed with how well Rockstar have done in creating this sense of danger in the wilderness. For myself, I felt most nervous around the swamps near Saint Denis. The alligators were one thing, but riding through the willow trees at night with the fog everywhere was pretty tense. Especially when I started hearing a woman's voice chanting about God, which kind of had me looking over my shoulder the whole time I was in the area. ten-a-penny, Fatsanchez, jordy-w92 and 1 other
silly_nate
There’s this ghost town really close to horseshoe overlook. I recommend exploring it. You’ll see something... interesting. Is there a specific location to hear the lady chanting about God? AlidarJarok
I found a old house that had like 6 or so beds. Each one had a skeleton in it and at the far side of the house set a skeleton at a desk. Found it when doing of of the treasure map hunts. Non Funkable Token
Limpany is creepier than any RDR1 location. I'm still to explore more in RDR2, but gosh.... silly_nate and SM00V 0PERAT0R
Cutter De Blanc
Limpany is the creepiest place I've been so far, although the bayou is up there too I wasn't really hanging out in the bayou because it's creepy The mountains in the north have their own creepy isolated vibe too, hanging out up there is really lonely R3CON, ytfc2000, tonko and 4 others
Penicuikscotland2010
The very first camp up in the snow is eerie as hell. Go back once the gang leave. I was expecting a ghost or a shadow to show it's presence. Plus the floorboards creaking and the wind whistling through the windows just adds to the creepiness. Anyone heard or know any haunted locations? I would love to see a MT Gordo type easter egg again Edited October 29, 2018 by Penicuikscotland2010 ten-a-penny, tonko, ytfc2000 and 1 other

silly_nate
I was exploring veterans homestead and while inside the cabin, I heard odd noises. A part of the mini map circle was red, like when an enemy is shooting at you. Does that happen with predators or bears? Totally creepy vibe the entire time. Cutter De Blanc
Holy sh*t, Pleasance takes the cake for new creepiest place I've found. Spoiler Checking the cemetery, it looks like everyone there was murdered Sept 17th 1883, a month after the place was founded. They surprised me once with that crying woman. After that I armed myself to the teeth and hunted them down during a misty night with myself as live bait. Very creepy but thrilling hearing their clicking. Then I made my own clicking. Shotgun clicking. I lived, they didn't. Non Funkable Token
I LOVE how they managed to put an Undead Nightmare easter egg like this, taking advantage of the voodoo culture from the creole people in the Bayou. It's perfect. A different attemp at this would have looked very forced and out of place. Can't wait to hunt down those creepos. TexasOdysseus
I had heard about, but haven't visited yet, the Spoiler "Witch's House".... Anyone see that yet? I saw a few snippets of someone's YouTube video but didn't want to spoil it for myself...evidently there's a creepy ramshackle 'cabin' in the middle of nowhere and a black crow that watches you. Separately, though, I can easily see them doing another Undead Nightmare concept, except with some voodoo stuff or something like that. SAS_Intruder
Yeah, there is a strange house somewhere in East Grizzlies, beautiful area with meadows covered in flowers and a lot of wild horses. There are a few hunting cabins around, one is very nice with watch tower and place to sleep. However, there is that small creepy house surrounded by threes. I could hear raven or a crow just right there and inside there is something cooking in a pot and we have option to try it. Since I wasn't sure of the effects and it was 3 AM, I decided to skip like a coward I am. Anyone here who ate whatever is that in that pot? eyman
There is a few but the one that I found creepy was a hut in Osmand Grove. There are like 4-5 adults in there and a child dead. they all had Bluish skin and seem to have been killed while in the process of doing something. I felt bad Robbing them. yeezy203

Coranub
i stumbled over a house in the woods with a hillbilly couple. They invited me in for dinner. I got flashbacks from The walking dead Season 1 episode 2 (The telltale game, not the tv series). Big difference is there was no one that yelled "Stop! Dont eat that!" Unlike in the walking dead, so what im wondering is...what did i eat? It looked like the stew you eat in the camp, but i woke up in a half dug mass grave so not entirely convinced it was just normal stew i ate lol. Penicuikscotland2010
I have to say Tall Tree's at night when it's dark. Something keeps screaming really loud from far away. Like a woman. I had a look and i saw no one. Yet when i went back to tanner's reach it started crying/screaming again. Dunno if it's an animal but it only does it at night and it's 99% NOT a bear. I swear it sounds scary as hell. If you want to hear it i was camping just by tanner's reach at about 1AM. Would be appreciated if someone could investigate. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ia7Jp62zNg Edited November 6, 2018 by Penicuikscotland2010 Fatsanchez and burritos
