Merle Travis
I dont know if I am doing something wrong but when its nighttime there is no darkness. Playing on One X. The nights look basically the same as daytime, only the colors are washed out. Is it supposed to look like this or is it me missing a setting somewhere? I remember this shot from the trailer made me think the nights would be dark: Trailer 1 darkness In game it looks like daytime but at night, its hard to explain. But its like the night does not have any darkness at all? Rockstar can you please patch this so we get proper darkness at night? And can you please patch the stars to look like stars? They are way too big. Edited October 28, 2018 by Merle Travis E•MO•TION
Penicuikscotland2010
Turn the brightness down. I have it at the lowest and my god what a difference it makes. Gta V was the same. The stars are a bit strange though. Some look too big and not normal lol. Edited October 28, 2018 by Penicuikscotland2010 Bleep%

Ash_735
Also be sure to check the HDR settings, sadly HDR in this game seems to be bugged causing white blowout and setting the game to SDR fixes that. Disappointed in this aspect because HDR done right looks amazing and adds to the atmosphere. Penicuikscotland2010 and R3CON

HDR doesn't make the game look that different anyway. Edited October 28, 2018 by Penicuikscotland2010

Lock n' Stock
I don't know about you guys but even with the in-game brightness turned up I still have a hard time seeing sh*t. Maybe it's my TV. Thanks friend, it showed up now finally! But then at day time the game looks too dark So you have to change that slider after every night...they need to patch this imo, nights shouldn't be THIS bright with day time brightness being set to normal. Sonny_Black
I think you should not have any problem if your console and TV are correctly calibrated. I never changed the brightness in-game for any game that I have and I never had any issues where I said "well that's too dark something is wrong" or "it's too bright..". In any case, in the brightness calibration in-game you should normally be able to distinguish all the segments while the logo should be visible. Also keep in mind that because of the weather at certain hours, night time can be sometimes a bit bright or even very dark. Vivi5432
I dont have a HDR TV. I play on Xbox One X (1080p). In standard settings the R*-Logo is not visible. I have to raise the brightness setting 1-2 steps, then the Logo is minimal visible. How visible must the logo be? When i compare with GTA V on PS4, there the Logo ist very clear visible (standard setting too). Edited October 28, 2018 by Vivi5432
