But the best one so far was when I was in a shootout infront of a saloon and the guys horse kicks me in the face and Arthur dies. Thought it was awesome that they can do that now!!! Another was discovering a dismembered body chained up under a railway bridge, nasty sh*t. One time also, I was riding my horse that I suddenly crashed into some guy out of nowhere and fell off. After delivering it succesfully I got the choice to ride back to camp with him or go my own way. I chose to ride back with him. After a short cutscene of them both mounting up and riding out..... FAILED MISSION. WTF! reloaded from last bit, chose to stick around and go my own way this time, mission passed......, WTF! One from 'The Goonies' and the other, a James Bond movies character. There is actually another two movie easter eggs I've come across....but not exactly wtf moments. CrimsonFolo Posted October 28, 2018 Share Posted October 28, 2018 I've seen a dead and rotting horse that was standing up upright. I looked at him and it was completly still. When i rode my horse into him, the horse just collapsed to the ground. I also saw another horse later on but half of it was stuck in the ground and it was standing upright too. I had my double barrel shotgun armed, and one guy went to punch Arthur at close range, and so as I tried to react with the weapon it looked like Arthur grabbed him quickly and put the gun under the guy’s chin and fired. When I popped back into the game I crashed into a guy who was riding one horse with another horse trailing beside him. We both got ejected from our horses in the crash but the dude was pretty chill about it. Before we could get back on our mounts another guy on a horse rode through, bumped into the guy I had run into and killed him before riding off scared. As if that wasn't random enough the dead guy's horses were super spooked and when I bent down to loot his body one of them kicked me. It knocked me over but didn't kill me. I figured I'd better get out of there before someone else comes along and blames me for the body but had to get my hat off the ground first. When I bent down for it the second horse kicked me and I was killed. That was probably the most WTF non-scripted/non-glitched moment I've had in a game. (A nice added touch IMO) As we pulled out of Valentine, some hapless idiot walked across the road as we were coming through. Dog Food didn't stop, or slow down, or make ANY attempt to avoid this particular individual and just plowed right into him, trampling him probably to death. Posted November 3, 2018 Share Posted November 3, 2018 The first time I played "We Loved Once and True - III" I knocked Jamie down before he could mount his horse (Can't remember how, prolly with my own horse though), because I thought maybe that would cut out the inevitable chase sequence. Instead of trying to mount the horse again, he began to run with a little bit of a limp. When I eventually realized that this was probably a glitch, I ran him over with my horse so that I could retry that portion of the mission. After beating the game, I decided to replay "Banking, The Old American Art." I skipped the opening cutscene, and instead of being in a suit, Arthur was wearing the Gunslinger outfit. There was no dialogue on the way to the bank, and instead of a cutscene starting at some point during the ride, we rode into about the center part of town, where the rest of the gang just stopped. I ended up killing someone so I could get the cops to kill me and make the mission restart, but instead of offering me that option, the screen faded to black with the little loading icon in the corner. I waited about a minute before restarting the game. During one of the last missions where you have to turn in a bounty with Sadie, she ran over someone in town with her horse, and that caused me to fail the mission. A short cinematic started playing and once it stopped and gave me control again, a buck ran into me out of thin air and cracked my skull with his........ I put my controller on my leg while I took a drink of coffee and....boom! Almost took my horses head off....and the bullet hit the deck next to some old dude. I was going to bless the man with like $100.00, but the Beggar R2 option goes away as soon as I step away from the horse and and ended up shooting him. But I have learned that when you come across people claiming they are blind, just pull out you gun and aim it at them, the scam artists will run, but the real blind ones, wont react to you aiming a gun in their face.
