I think it is one of the pieces of clothing that he would likely wear as well with it kind of matching his Gunslinger coat. It is also not attached to any other outfits in the wardrobe when you start the game which really makes it feel like it's HIS vest. There's a few vests I think look particularly good with a union suit...and then a few more that I keep with some basic collared shirts. None of the weird fancy colors, just typically stick to black, white, gray, blue and maybe a dark red if there was one. I never let his beard get too long, but grew it just a little bit thicker than what's in the screenshot. At a certain point though, I discovered that really nice red shirt, and with a black or dark red vest, he looked extremely classy. I fiddled with a bunch of hairstyles and facial hair, and I quite like the combination of sideburns and twirled mustache. He looks like what Leviticus Cornwall should have! However, after his condition got quite bad ... which I'm just surprised people haven't called "Lungbago" ... his appearance deteriorated in a similar fashion.
