Decomposing corpses??

So many cool little details, I haven't had enough time to play a long session and check this out.

 

One thing that I did and loved was throwing someone in a river and watch him drown lol

I once killed a horse at emerald ranch, went back days layer and found the bones where it died

Ive seen one of the larger types of fish decompose into nothing more that bones and a tail fin, definitely is in game.

It works even well enough that you can get some animals like rats and coyotes coming for your rotten corpse if you wait long enough, kind of like bait.

Yep, definitely there... just went to the same place I was hunting one or two in game days before and found this wolf corpse I skinned.

they decompose, i dropped a turkey? or rabbit. whatever it was, i dropped it just outside of the gangs camp by the horses and everytime i walked past it would be more and more flies and i couldnt pick it up at that point

I killed and skinned a bear close to where you can find the legendary bighorn ram. After that I roamed around the camp, valentine, emerald ranch, reload the game several times and the bear carcass is still there. The same with every animal that I've killed so far. Truly amazing.

I heard this also applies to killed human enemies, is that true ?

Yes it is. I had a turkey hanging around on my horse for a couple of days and it eventually rotted and fell off.

Strange.. Good to hear though.

 

I was under the impression that corpses, whether it be animal or NPC would stay there and rot. 

 

But I killed a woman the other day from distance when she ran into the woods. I went back a little to loot the guy she was with, who I'd killed too. Then back up into the woods and there was just the pool of blood lying

 

More testing required though. More killing and sleeping.
