Since there's no "brief" section in the pause menu I thought there was no way to read a log of mission dialogue. But I was just replaying a mission and pressed the left d pad button to bring up the tasks menu thing to see if it would show me the gold medal objectives faster than going through the main menu (it did) and noticed you can scroll to a mission dialogue section from there! Pretty cool to know.

Also I noticed that when you look at the temperature it isn't just telling you the temperature of the general area, but the very specific temperature where you're standing. I was at Beecher's Hope and it was 18C outside, but when standing next to the campfire or the furnace on the side of the barn (or a fire I deliberately started at the entrance to test it) it was between 28C and 34C depending on how close I was to it, and inside the house it was 21C. Great attention to detail!

Mary-Beth's notebook updates as the game progresses.

Never heard these. It's been almost 5 years.

This is quite spesific, but I didnt know the mission "The Landowning Classes" where John asks for loan at the bank is only a cutscene. I thought it involved the part where you go to Beechers Hope to deal with the squatters but that is its own mission, "Home of the Gentry?"

Not heard those lines myself before either. I thought you immediately started "Blood Feuds" after Sean dies when returning to camp? Looks like "An Honest Mistake" and a mission for Gray is still on the map in that video. Even Jack is in the background.

Going to make a note of this for my next play through as I was of the same opinion.

During the opening cutscene, I have heard Grimshaw mention the name Gaskill but never knew who she was talking to until today when I found the Twitter account of the actress behind Mary-Beth Gaskill.

Didn't know you could kill Helen without mission failing in that first side mission with the twins.. and she even reacts to it, they get confused in a very realistic way if you do so. Saw that from a youtube video..

The thing is there's many other ones like this but I never check as when I do, the mission usually fails.

There's a cutscene chat with the Mayor of Strawberry. I have chatted to him loads of times before on playthroughs and I have now just triggered the cutscene whilst he is sat outside the hotel!

It makes no sense, it should not be possible to do Beau's mission after getting attacked by Grays and literally killing the Sheriff.

It has to be some deleted/rare dialogue triggered by a mod.

It isn't documented on the wiki but Gerald Braithwaite is actually present in the mission "Horse Flesh for Dinner" (second picture).

If you go to Blackwater at night to start The Landowning Classes, John will peek through the window, see that it is shut, and then sleep on the bench outside until the next day.

Notice how Bill's lips don't move. This clearly is cut content, that's why I've never heard it in 4+ years.

You can hear Bill and Charles fight around 51-52 minutes in this video.

I hope someone can trigger the animations of their fight one day so we can see Charles kicking Bill's ass.

The game has a system that saves and remembers all of your interactions with peds (and they have memories of their own as well), so I'm guessing that after a certain amount of positive actions this is triggered. Possibly max honour might be required too. I think I've gotten one of those in my playthrough but not 100% sure, sounds familiar.

Cool detail as usual. :realisticsteak:

Im pretty sure I had that encounter in chapter 6, but mightve been a similar one. Usually I leave Micah at his camp by Strawberry until chapter 3, so I never see his camp encounters in chapter 2 and start of 3 anyway

I'd leave him there the whole game if I could! 😂

No I'd kill him in the jail break mission and tell Dutch an O'Driscoll shot him during an ambush.

I left him until near the end of chapter 2. I guess because I spent so much time in camp before then I'd pretty much run out of camp conversations/events. So when he came back it was nothing but Micah ones lol, already sick of his crap by the start of chapter 3.

After hundreds of hours of playing and 100%ing the game I only just found out today that you can do the slow duel style sidearm draw any time you want just by slowly/not fully pressing the quickdraw button and then fully pressing it to quickdraw with deadeye same as in a scripted duel. Had NO idea.

Also found out the guy who presents the acts at the theatre (Aldridge T. Abington) is played by Fred Armison lol. Is this the most well known actor/celebrity in the game (or perhaps the only actor in it who could be considered a household name/well known for things other than RDR)? Or are there others?

Edit: While checking out the cast on IMDb I discovered that Cleet's actor is also Gerry McReary in GTA IV (and Walton Lowe in RDR1) which is great. I'll have to do some cross reference searches to see if there's more similar examples.

So it is true, it really is possible to leave that Micah mission until Chapter 3. Very strange indeed, story-wise I mean.

Yeah, when Arthur and Charles go to Dewberry Creek to set up a new camp the location is a tip off from Micah which suggests that he is back in camp at that point.

I recently discovered that Beau's missions can literally be done after killing his uncle. I don't know how that can be a thing, yet there are videos that prove this.
