But... there's no toilets in the bedrooms

There were no toilets in 1899 at all. Only the very wealthy might have a water closet, but most of the neccessaries were done in the outhouse and the less ones in a chamber pot.

Bowl, pitcher, chamber pot. 'S all.

Reading about Jesse James and it sounds familiar..

Quote

For the next several years, the gang continued in their crime spree robbing 8 more banks and a Kansas City Ticket office before robbing their first train.

Not limiting who they robbed or killed, sometimes innocent by-standers were wounded or lost their lives while witnessing one of their crimes. During these years, the gang was constantly trailed by the Pinkerton Detective Agency.

I found a ghost in the game.

I was walking near a swamp in bluewater at night when i saw in the distance a woman in a dress in the middle of the swamp, she was trasparent and looking at my direction, she started to talk stuff like ''i always loved you'' and she dissapeared.

That scared the crap outta of me, goddamn

Not sure if it has been mentioned...

You can take a second horse with you for extra space while hunting.

All you do is grab a second horse. Then call your main horse and have him follow you while riding the new one. Continue to ride until you bond with the 2nd one, once that happens they will both stay with you while hunting.

Using two horses while hunting will save you from having to return to town as often; bring in one big haul. Another benefit is that you will be able to return with two large pelts at a time rather then one.

The downside to this is, if you get killed you'll lose more.

...so don't die lol.

Also...

When in the mountains if you talk to every one at the location they sheltered in during the blizzard, the preacher mentions he would be doing a lot better if he had his special tonic.

When the gang relocates to the south in warmer climate, if you walk to the south side of camp you will see a book on a barrel. If you examine it you will find a tourniquet, syringe, and bottle hidden in a hollow of the book.

Apparently he still has the same affliction as he did in Red Dead Revolver lol.

Can I just point out one thing...?

Why do people ask if the Bandanna/Masks is working/faulty when they put it on next to the crime they committed? "So I just put my mask on in the shop I robbed and I got a Bounty duuur y? Why in a game thats praised and vilified in equal measure for being extremely realistic would that work?

You need to mask up well before you hit town, smash and grab and then flee, remove your mask and change your clothes.

Did you not see the guy chitting in the toilet when Arthur accidentally walked into the wrong door in the saloon?. Pretty sure it was in a bedroom. Funniest thing ever hehe.

Not only is Javier (as I mentioned a few posts above voiced by a different actor) but Abigail and Uncle are also voiced by a different actor in this game. Rockstar probably wanted them to have different people voice them or the original actors simply didn’t want to reprise their roles. Who knows...

You know who Uncle sounds like quite a bit?

The guy Jake, in the first mission when he escorts John Martson to Ft Mercer before he gets shot.

I think @LegacyKillaHD did a video about that, on Halloween, with some of the creepy stuff in the game.

I haven't ventured to find the Witch's House yet though.

I had given a fellow a health cure to drink since he'd been bitten by a snake. As I rode off my horse stepped on the empty bottle he'd dropped, smashing it. Just a completely cool but unnecessary detail.

I followed Josiah after a mission and he rode back to camp. Don't know why I didn't think he would.

I brought an entire White Tailed Buck back to camp for food and later that evening Dutch rewarded me by blasting his opera music

My horse was riding through a river and we disturbed some geese which flew up and crashed into my horse, killing them

In Valentine if you ride into the north side of town at night, you can find 2 guys looking into a window.

Walk up and it will prompt you to look in...

Don't want to spoil the surprise...

...a peep show of a guy down on his hands and knees getting spanked lol

A buck charged out of the bushes and knocked Arthur on his ass when i was exploring below the camp. I didn't even see it there, so got a fright. It turned and vanished again with a bunch of does, leaving no chance to pursue.

Gold panners do not take kindly to you hanging around for too long, and Arthur cannot retrieve a fish shot with an arrow.

Experienced both things. The buck was racing down the road, passed Arthur and flattened an NPC running away from me.

The gold prospectors will pull a gold nugget out of the river, then I had a gold nugget a prospector pulled out of the river... if you catch my drift

-Some people will react if you keep staring at them.

Just saw this;

That's how I got the raccoon hat from the drunk in Valentine. Stood there, staring at him for ages, and then went and stood directly behind his chair until he got fed up and took a swing. Score one hat for me, lol. No bounty either, as I spent most time blocking, only hitting enough to not die.
As to the gold panner, when I encountered him, I didn't move fast enough and he killed me.

I'm hanging out in the burned down town of Limpany. All of the structures are burned down except for the jail. In the jail there are two corpses apparently dead from starvation/thirst. I'm gonna spend the night here to see if there's any ghosts

Wow..I read all 7 pages of this topic and didn’t see anyone talking about what I’m about to post. So I guess I must be one of the first people to discover this and there must be so much more little things to learn.

but, you can choke slam NPCs. If you’re in a fight and you press Y to grab your opponent, you can then press L3 to slam him on his back. Respectively, when you have them pinned down on the ground, you can press L3 to stand them up on their feet.

another one, when you have a gun in your hand, you can walk up to anyone and aim at them and tap Y, aurthur will grab the NPC by their neck and put the gun in their face.

Also while grabbing someone you can throw them in any direction you please by pressing x and pushing a direction on the left anolog stick..

you can also climb into stage coaches/wagons with the backs open and loot the items they’re carrying around. If you take the wagon to the fences, he’ll comment on what items are in the back.

If you guys really wanna get a laugh in hogtie an NPC, stow them on your horse and ride off until you find a cliff. Remove the NPC from your horse, untie them and do what you just mentioned up above. Throwing an NPC off a cliff is hilarious.

Ah fair play 'TheLordMarvel', that was my thread for GTA. Tried to start this one yesterday but you beat me to it. Let's hope this one is as valuable as the GTA one was. :)

Anyway, I only came here with the gun spin animation that was mentioned and the fact that the 3 star rating for an animals skin can be checked BEFORE you kill them...this was really driving me crazy when I wasn't getting perfect pelts. This could have been mentioned also...not sure...going to have a proper look at the comments now.

-Electric light bulbs makes a "humnming" noise if you stand near them at night.

One example is the street lamp hanging from the building between the saloon and the doctor in Valentine.

Other is the lobby bar inside the Theatre in St. Denis.

- In the Sheriffs office in Valentine you can check the criminal ledger on the desk.

Another thing I just figured out; remember the slow motion gun duels from The first RDR? Remember NPCs had to confront John to trigger this fun event?  Well in RDR 2, you can initiate a gun duel with anyone.

First you must walk up to/look at any NPC you want to duel with, and then antagonize them until they’re ready to shoot you. The moment they start reaching for their holster, (you must have Arthur’s gun holstered) slowly and lightly press RT or R2. This will change everything to slow motion, make the world orange and allow you to be the coolest bad ass with akimbo revolvers in the wild west

You don't even need to change your clothes.  I've done multiple crimes with just a bandana, got the Wanted warning, left the area then came back once it cleared without the bandana and all is good again. The bounty system is really good...only thing that messes it up is lawmen always know who you are regardless of whether you have the bandana on or not.
