So I caught Elias Green, one of the Blackwater bounties. Returned to Blackwater a few days later and saw him getting hanged. Returned a few days after that and the local Preacher is giving him a funeral. Just the Preacher and a Grave Digger in attendance until I showed up. I've seen hangings before but never a funeral!

You can carry your saddle outside the map using the Devil's Cave glitch. But unfortunately you cannot put it in any of those horses outside the map.

we all know rockstar added little references to rdr1 missions in rdr2. like edgar ross joking with jack about the fishing at the river. or dutch making his speech to the army before jumping into the river with arthur. even when javier told arthur that if it were reversed that john would be looking for him. when john was bit by wolves. so i just remembered an interesting part in the rdr1 mission the demon drink. when john meets allende for the first time he threatens to tie john to a horse and let it drag him around the town. and see what he would say about why he was there. in the rdr2 mission a kind and benevolent despot. we see the cuban army and fussar dragging javier around the town and asking him why he was there and who he was. it feels similar. especially with the fact that fussar and allende look very similar and are both colonels. and both characters in these missions were looking for javier.

I never thought about that before, nice attention to details there bro.

Apparently, if you can manage to get an NPC to shoot at (and potentially hit) another NPC, they will go aggro on each other. Just had a situation where I followed some yella belly out of town after he was talking smack and threatened to shoot Arthur. When I (thought) I was clear of witnesses I antagonized one last time and aimed my pistol square at his head. He naturally turned to shoot back at me. As he did a carriage was coming in from behind as I see a couple horse heads appear on my lower left screen. The yella belly that started shooting missed with his first couple. However, they must have hit that carriage and as the driver of the carriage continued past he blasted that fool right off his horse. *Pow*, one shotted. 😳🤣 Didn't even have to fire a bullet to get my revenge. Bahahahaha. 😎

After doing all of the Duchesses and Other Animals quests you can continue to send in Orchids at the Post Office. Every time you ship them you will get ten dollars in the mail regardless of how many you send, so it behooves you to only send them one at a time

One at a time, yes. But prices are different: https://github.com/subvod/examples/blob/master/RDR2.MD#orchids

Silly me for sending them all at the same time last year.

There's a FOURTH way to break Micah out of jail during the mission "Blessed are The Peacemakers", with different animations, dialogue and everything, this game is unbelievable. You go into the jail, kill the sheriff and his deputies, but don't loot the key from his body and use the dynamite instead:

Credits to NecessaryBar3568 for finding this.

It's funny that all these campers recognize Arthur/John at the end of their story, no matter what your honour is.

This is just a conversation breaker, not related to honor at all, just like when Karen, Mary-Beth and Tilly asks you if you wanna talk in camp, you gotta be careful with what people tell about the game, most of them don't know sh*t about something, but spreads it around incorrectly anyway.

There are two Buffalo Rifles (Sharps M1859) with bayonets on Arthur's tent in the gang's camp, which showcases his experience with American Civil War firearms, alongside a few dismantled Cattleman Revolvers, Repeater Rifles and a Maxim Gun underneath his stagecoach, so Arthur probably has some gunsmith skills, considering the amount of tools he have there too.

i never knew the buffalo rifle was already in the game. i wish they would let us use it. especially if arthur owns one. i remember in a newswire rockstar showed an image of what looks like the buffalo rifles hud image. it looked like a teaser. but we still have not got it.

It's sort of a prop only, rusty and missing its trigger, I remember this HUD image of the Buffalo Rifle on Rockstar's newswire, they probably would've added it to Red Dead Online eventually, before they decided to abandon it or something of course. This prop is also used here, skip to 4:48.

There's additional dialogue if you take your time to kill the spotter at Colm's hanging.

"Fair citizens of Saint Denis... For as long as any of us can remember, it is justice that separates us from barbary. Yet justice itself can at times be barbaric. For sometimes a man is so savage, the only way to deal with him justly is by savagery. Colm O'Driscoll is one such man. He has murdered, tortured, robbed, stolen, raped, and abused for a decade across five states. Seemingly with impunity. Today, justice catches up with him."

This bit plays every time before the cutscene starts.

"Today, we as citizens of this republic assert our will, and our will is for justice, and for civilization at any cost. No man can make himself God. And no man, is above the law. We judge each other, and we judge you as unfit to be a member of our society."

This bit plays if you take too long to kill the spotter.

Never got this unique dialogue, probably because in my game the Bronte mission was the last before the Bank job.

Anyway, poor Hosea was right.

Awhile ago while exploring Tall Trees I came upon a mass grave with a bunch of what looked to be dead cheerleaders or something,  they all had A's on their shirts. Just a weird ass random encounter. I didn't think much more of it, but then in chapter 6 I found a newspaper article indicating that the Blackwater Athletics Club went out for a run and never came back, and foul play was suspected. Something real bad must've happened to them.

yea this has been talked about for a while. there are a lot of different theories out there. like the skinners killing them or the serial killer.

So I uploaded my semi-OCD save to Nexus late last year. For some reason, I think the Native American Ring encounter glitched out. So, recently, I started a new run. I recall reading speculation on the effect(s) of said ring, one of which being an increased number of wolves during "random" attacks. On this new run, after collecting the ring, I've found that most wolf spawns now yield 5-8 wolves at a time as opposed to what I'm used to (being 2-4).

Not sure if that's a direct result of having collected the ring itself, but during the months I spent searching for the encounter on this existing old 100% save I never encountered wolf packs *that* large. As for anything else after having collected the ring, nothing has seemed out of the ordinary other than the well-known feather icon appearing at Fort Riggs.

Curious if anyone else has noticed larger wolf packs after collecting the ring.

That's because you didn't see the 10-12 wolves pack which attacked me last week lol, it was near Big Valley's trapper, the one on the left of it, yes, I have the Native American Ring on my satchel, but I don't think this has anything to do with it at all.

Tried something new today. Crazy sh*t. I was put on the small islands out from Clemens Point, and was carrying my saddle into the water. A small steam powered boat came by, and I jumped up on it. I aimed at the guy steering the boat and his icon went red and he cursed me out a few times. I kept standing on the boat as he was sailing full speed. He went south of the panther forest and up past Sisika, all the way up past Annesburg and then turned around and went down again. At that point I had to leave to get my kids, but I just left it on. I came back 40 minutes later and this guy had sailed himself and my Arthur down the river that ends up in Manteca Falls. He didn’t turn around or anything. Didn’t even try. He just steamed ahead out over the waterfall and killed us both. I never knew NPCs could go down that river. I’ve seen boats most places, but never on the upper river that leads into Manteca.

That's the same place I've come across huge packs like you describe. There, and up on the mountain across the path from Fairvale Shanty. I've run across packs similar, 8-12. Given I have a few thousand hours in this game across four 100% runs, in the two saves which I'd sold off the ring I never encountered packs larger than 6.

I did catch on to a weird spawning animation for the wolves, though. One I've never noticed before. Usually wolves will spawn just standing until the player gets within range, then they'll start moving around, chasing NPCs, etc. Today, I ran across two packs of eight. Same spots, by the Big Valley trapper and across from Fairvale. The red dots (for hostiles) just poured into the same spot all at once. Like someone was spamming a spawn button. While not having the ring, the static spawns are spread far enough apart that you can see some distance between the red dots on the minimap.

I don't think this is coincidental. Given I've never seen huge packs until collecting the ring, and now having seen some weird spawn action going on, the ring must have something to do with wolves. Exactly what that may be, idk yet. But, be that as it may, watch out for random mass wolf spawns.

Never heard of that, either. Maybe the NPCs won't bail or attack if they're piloting that kind of boat. Or he just somehow got stuck in the animation. I would love to see some footage, though. Can't imagine just riding around the river by Brittlebrush and watching a paddle steamer take a swan dive off Manteca. XD

I don’t have footage unfortunately. He was sitting with that big control stick in his hand, he was a red dot on the map and his head movement followed me wherever I went on the boat.

It was this small steam boat called Annie May.

That you can be robbed by NPC's ... walked around Saint Denis at night (absolutely stunning atmosphere!) when some NPC talked to me and wanted to show me something ... before I knew it I was knocked out, my wallet has been stolen and I was left on a bench in the middle of Sain Denis cemetery.

That's a pretty known random encounter, but glad you experienced it for the firsr time. You can also go back and take your money back if you didn't know.

Currently in chapter 3 on my fourth 100% run. Found out that evidently, a massive looking bass has a chance of spawning during the fishing mission with Kieran. It appears similar to the legendary bass found in the San Luis, but textual data shows it as a regular 5 lb 5 oz largemouth. Some pics of it:

It cannot be mailed to Jeremy Gill. I already tried. I could mail the legendary bluegill (caught during the same mission), but nothing to do with the bass except sell it or donate it to camp.
