I thought his AI script had gotten broken after about hour 4 of straight smoking, but I stuck it out and it turned out I was just following a lazy shiftless bastard who'd snuck out of working that day

That's not a bug, that's their security system 😛

In the Mission Friends in Low Places you can kill the opera singer and her people rather than to sneak and open the stagecoach safe and it will trigger a alternate cutscene at the end.

*The last few times I've played this mission, Javier and Bill haven't been part of the group that sticks around for about 10-15 seconds, despite the fact that they're part of it when they all run off screen. I also haven't seen them part of it in the few videos I've been able to find where the player pans over to see that group. But I swear there have been a few occasions where I saw Bill and Javier fighting alongside them, and one time I tossed dynamite over their way to see what it would do, and I vividly remember four people going in the air while Joe stayed grounded.

There are a few others I'm still compiling notes about, like in "Advertising, the New American Art" where John sticks around for a few seconds before riding off in the beginning, and all the missions that start off in camp. There are a couple in this list I prolly shouldn't have counted, like "Motherhood" for Abe, or a couple of missions that are basically glorified cutscenes. I'd like to say I had a good reason for not excepting those, but what it really boils down to is it seemed like a good idea at the time I made this. I'll probably refine it with some more notes about scenarios like that in the future, and also add some more characters (in this I've pretty much only counted major characters, with a few exceptions). Until then though, I hope you all enjoy :)

Didn't find out you could shift the camera angle to the left side of Arthur while aiming by pressing the left arrow on the D-Pad or that you could rapid fire guns from the hip by shooting without aiming with left trigger until I beat the game.

It  is definitely a problem when you have an open-world game like this but need the towns and farms to have lots of people-not enough places for them to logically live.

Watched someone follow a Maid from the hotel in Valentne.   She emptied the piss pots then scrubbed flor and walkways then cleaned windows.  Quitting time told the guy at the desk 'goodnight' and walk thru and out of town to a camp where she ate dinner, washed the dishes then read for a bit.   Someone joined her and they had a conversation till late and she went over to a lean to and went to be.

Serious detail.

I think I've got this figured out now. If you want to load your game up and be at one of your set up little campsites, assuming you have autosave on you have to set up camp and then immediately exit the game without performing any other action. You SHOULD load the game at your campsite the next time you load. If your campsite is already up and you wanna save, break it down and set it back up.

I set up camp, slept then saved the game WITHOUT tearing down the camp. When I loaded back in Arthur was sitting at the camp fire.

I managed to figure out reliably how to increase my weight.  Learned a thing about the weight system. Killed Herbert Moon in his Store and tested when I noticed my weight go down while waiting until morning since you can just keep waiting over and over again. Ate two cooked big game meats (seasoned or not does not matter) and waited until morning,  weight went up by .75. Eating only 1 maintained my weight. Ran out of meat, switched to biscuits. Ate 4 biscuits and weight went up by .75. Eating only 3 maintained my weight (showed weight going down on health core, but no change on player screen). The weight classes go Underweight > Average > Perfect (only at 0%) > Average > Overweight with weight maxing out at 7.5% damage absorption and you get a little notification telling you that you've reached max weight.

I actually didn't realize until recently that you can find and search crawfish holes in the swamp. I was filling out the exotics checklist for the first time since I haven't bothered with that kind of crap on my first playthrough. Just standing there thinking "What the hell is this hole doing here? Oh, crawfish, lol." Now I can go fish.

0.75? How are you checking your weight by increments? Is there a stat page for it?

It's on the player section of the pause menu, highlight weight, it will show where you're at on the bottom left corner of the screen

It only goes up or down by .75% increments at a time

Any mission where you have an NPC on your horse and you have to bring them somewhere, you can roam Blackwater without Pinkertons aimbotting you.

If you go to the movie tent in Valentine, swing the camera around while the slideshow is playing and you'll see a guy standing behind a projector who's legit changing the slides in real time as they change on the projector screen, an absurd small detail that I noticed.

Interesting. Can you use this to complete the herbalist 9 challenge for the legends of the east outfit before the epilogue?

Well yes by replaying the Angelo Bronte mission.

I just realized that when overweight, John's face gets fat and he has a bit of a double chin.

Jumped in-game, noticed John's face was fat, and sure enough; he's overweight.  Never noticed that before.

So I don't know this for sure, but apparently Cleet and Joe are supposed to spawn after "Mrs. Sadie Adler, Widow - II." I don't know that this causes it for sure, but I have seen video of them hanging around camp before "My Last Boy," so I know it's possible for them to be around before then, I just don't know how for sure. I remember during the video I watched that Sadie was shown throwing knives into a tree, and the only mission icon was the one for "Favored Sons," so that lead me to believe Sadie's mission had been done. Haven't tested this out yet. I have tested to see if they'll spawn after skipping that mission, and as it turns out, they won't.

Kind of odd that they don't show up before then, given the first line of "My Last Boy" is Arthur asking why they're still around. Heck, even the strategy guide orders Sadie's mission right before that one. If you ask me, it probably would have been better for them to spawn after "Goodbye, Dear Friend." I initially thought that was when they spawned, but I tested it out recently and no dice. Though I skipped a lot of the optional "honor" missions before doing that in chapter six, so maybe you have to do those as well, but doing them after that mission doesn't cause them to appear.

You can rob the general store in Armadillo over and over(usually you get around $20+) plus the stealing. As there is no lawmen, no bounty.

Just sleep between robberies.

Happy days
