TheHooded1 Posted October 26, 2018 Share Posted October 26, 2018 Recently got into modding the game so I downloaded openiv to start with vehicles, though openiv will not install, something is blocking the installer to write a script in my pc's database and I am not sure what is stopping it since I have my firewall and anti-virus off. The fact that I get the error message as soon as I start the installer makes the downloading process involved useless since it has no file to go to therefore it fails to install. I looked on many forums, and only found one with a similar issue but it dropped off after getting a response from one of the creators of openiv to reinstall the installer, which I have done 3 times to no avail. Hopefully someone can help me with this issue, and if you ask for a LOG, well one DOES NOT EXIST since apon start of the install it cannot write a log file or a boot file for the program and I have no idea what is blocking it from writing the script. C:\User\Name\Downloads\ovisetup.exe Thats the error that comes up first yet the installer will run but cannot put a script in a designated file.
